The Fragrance Shop | Discovery Club Box | 3rd Edition

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and are having a lovely weekend so far. I don't know about you but i have a serious obsession with perfume and i have quite a substantial collection. However, whenever you are on the hunt for a new perfume it can be an overwhelming task...i prefer trying on a perfume in store and walking around a little just to see how it develops on me and if it is a scent i would potentially purchase. Sometimes in stores you can be put under a little pressure making a decision then and right there. In some cases it can be a little daunting asking for samples to take home and some counters are quite reluctant to give you some unless you make a purchase. Don't worry girlies, i have a solution for you all...

The Fragrance Shop are the only fragrance retailer that offer a subscription box, and they offer their Discovery Club Box* for as little as £5 a month which includes 6 fragrance samples. This post will consist of their Third Edition box, however, The Fragrance Shop release new boxes quarterly throughout the year. I love perfume samples as i feel you could literally throw them in your handbag and use them on the go and get a real feel for the fragrance you are potentially going to purchase. Not only does the box include the samples but it also comes with a booklet containing information about all of the new releases but also with vouchers to use against the full size versions of the perfumes in the box...some perfumes are getting sooo expensive now-a-days so a voucher is a great way to save a little and get a true bargain.

The Samples Included:

Pour Femme:
Loewe - Quizas, Quizas, Quizas Pasion
Thierry Mugler - Alien Aqua Chic
Mont Blanc - Legend Pour Femmer
Elvis Jesus - For Her

Pour Homme:
Givenchy - Gentlemen Only
Lacoste - Eau de Lacoste Noir

I love how their is a selection of male and female fragrances as it is a great way to maybe try out a new fragrance to purchase for you boyfriend, a guy friend or even your Dad. I also love the fact that there are a few samples that i might not have necessarily heard of before so it is opening my eyes to new brands and fragrances that i might not have necessarily tried before. If you would like to find out more about the Discovery Club Box you can do so by clicking here

I hope you all enjoyed this fragrance related post, i would love to know what your favourite fragrances are of the moment! Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Panasonic Styling Event

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and have had a fabulous week! Yay, it is finally friday, bring on the weekend haha. Eeeep! only 5 days until i jet off to LA :D also i have a lovely wedding party to go to tomorrow which we are all really excited about. One of my bosses got married in Italy in July and she is having this lovely party tomorrow...so I will definitely be posting a few OOTN and pictures over on my Instagram (@SophiaMeola) tomorrow haha :D

So, last month i visited The Painted Lady in London for a Panasonic styling event before heading down to Love Box Festival. The salon was so beautiful and it was so lovely to meet some new bloggers on the day. You might all be thinking Panasonic? Hair Styling? Yes lovelies you heard me right, Panasonic have released a new 'Panasonic Nanoe Hairdryer*'. Whilst at the styling event they used the new hairdryers on us to style our hair into something fabulous for the Love Box Festival. I really loved how my hairstyle came out, bless my hairdresser who done an amazing job at taming my long and curly locks haha. I opted for a classic festival braid look with a twist.

Firstly, i adore the black and pink packaging on the box and on the hairdryer itself, it just screams girly which i think is really fun. It is extremely lightweight and comes with 3 attachments - a diffuser, condenser nozzle and quick dry nozzle so the hairdryer itself is extremely versatile and can help achieve a wide range of different hairstyles. Not only does it offer this but it also offers superior technology which supplements the hair and scalp with additional moisture, preventing dryness and maintaining smooth, shiny hair and a healthy scalp...seems perfect right?!

As i have quite long hair it can be a pesky and lengthly task when it comes round to washing it, after using the Panasonic dryer with the quick dry nozzle i find my hair dries so much quicker without any damage caused, it works perfectly on my hair and i am truly amazed at how quick it works. The Panasonic Nanoe Dryer is a powerful 2,000 watts hairdryer with nanoe technology which is the next level to ionic drying. It claims to keep 1000 times more moisture in your hair and scalp, preventing it from drying out, thus giving smoother and shinier results. It also has a 3 heat and speed setting which i like as i prefer using different speeds when say drying my bangs/fringe or say when i tip my head upside down and blast it for volume. After using the dryer for a good few weeks now and i can say i am extremely pleased with it and it has taken the place of my other beloved hairdryers. I have been working part time in a hair salon since i was 14 so i have seen so many hair tools you could imagine and i can honestly say that the Panasonic Nanoe Dryer is up there amongst my top 5 dryers and i have converted some hairdressers to it also haha.

The new Panasonic NA65 Nanoe Dryer* is available to buy now from Boots and is originally prices at £99.99...however, i have just taken a quick peek on the Boots website and it currently on offer at £59.99! I know the original price of £99.99 is a little high considering it is only a hairdryer, however, the quality and functions on this dryer are amazing and i feel you would be getting your moneys worth out of it.

Above are a few pictures taken on the day, a few selfie shots haha, my OOTD, pictures at 'The Painted Lady' with the girlies and at the Love Box Festival.

My OOTD -

High Low Dress - River Island
Lace Bandeau - River Island
Shoes - Converse
Jewellery - Assorted
Floral Head Band - River Island
Sunglasses - Rayband Wayfarers

Hope you all enjoyed this post, i would love to know your favourite hair styling tools are of the moment! Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Elemis | Fresh Skin Range

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and are having a lovely week so far.

I was very kindly sent a few Elemis goodies and amongst them was these two absolutely wonderful 'Elemis Fresh Skin' products, the 'Peachy Perfect Gentle Face Wash' and the 'Softly Softly Daily Moisturiser'. I have been using them religiously since i received them and i can honestly say i have really been enjoying them and have seen a difference in my skin which i have been really pleased about. The 'Fresh Skin' range was specifically designed for the needs of younger skin and market this range for the 20's which is perfecto as i am 20 myself haha. Elemis state that skin will appear brighter and more radiant whilst the Fresh Skin range targets problems, oily and blemish prone skin which is perfect as we have all been there where we have had those pesky breakouts. All of the products within the range is formulated with naturally active ingredients which have been specially chosen for their ability to help cleanse, exfoliate, moisturise and target the problems of young skin.

Elemis have some simple rules for us to look to for when out skin needs a little TLC -

- Feed Your Skin
- Remeber To Breathe
- Eat Healthily
- Sleep Well
- Have a Break

- Spend Time On You
- Keep Cleansing
- Invest In Your Skin
- Never Get Lazy, Exercise!

The Fresh Skin Peachy Perfect Gentle Fash Wash is the perfect morning cleanser and it is something i have been constantly reaching for on a daily basis. Firstly, the yummy peach scent is the first thing you notice when you pump some product onto your hand and when you massage it into your face and i think it is absolutely divine! The hydrating Chicory extract conditioning elderflower and skin-awakening lemon, leave the complexion beautifully soft and super radiant, they aid by hydrating, conditioning and awakening the skin which is just what i need in the mornings when i am not looking at my best haha! For me personally even though this is a daily wash i prefer to use this in the morning and opt for something else for my night time skincare routine, however, i do occasionally use this at night when i would prefer a more gentle cleanse in the evening. I have actually packed this away to bring away to LA with me as i feel it will be a really lovely skincare product to use without it vigorously removing my tan haha. I have been using this for a good few months now and i have to say i have only gone through maybe an inch of the product which you can see in the picture. A little really does go a long way as a small pea sized amount is enough to lather your entire face.

The Elemis Fresh Skin Softly Softly Daily Moisture is a really lovely product i really enjoy using in the mornings. Enriched with seaweed extract, this light and non-greasy daily moisturiser helps protect and moisturise at the same time. Rosehip seed oil and sweet almond oil deliver soothing and softening qualities ensuring the skin receives an instant hydrating boost. Your skin is left revitalised and more radiant which is something i am always looking for in a daily moisturiser. I have also found that this moisturiser has not made my skin breakout which is amazing as i find some moisturiser can be a little 'too' thick in some cases and they completely block the poors and cause more damage than good. Moisturisers work by sealing water into the skin and keeping it hydrated and supple, i do like applying this just after washing my face in the morning where my skin is still slightly damp so it has a full effect throughout the day. Signs of fatigue and everyday life can reflect through your face by dulling your complexion and causing dark circles so combined with the right skincare, having a good nights sleep and by drinking lots of water we can combat this haha. The one thing that might not apply to everyone is the unique scent of this product...it is not a terrible smell but it is quite noticeable and might not be for everyone. To me it reminds me of a more herbal and seaweed and rosehip scent which is reflected from the natural ingredients, i really don't mind as i feel more herbal scents help with relaxing the body and make you feel more pampered.

Overall, i have really been enjoying using both of these products together and by themselves. I have really been loving experimenting with skincare an finding the right products that suit me. Elemis is a skincare brand i have only really discovered this year and have enjoyed using other products like their 'Herbal Lavender Repair Mask' and i love using that when my skin needs a little TLC and pick me up asap! :D Hope you all enjoyed this skincare post, i would love to know what skincare goodies you are constantly reaching for right now! If you would like to try out any Elemis goodies then you can take a peek through the 'Time to Spa' website.

Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Dior Addict | Charmante Lipstick #437

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well! So, i have an exciting lipstick post for you all today and i think it is a perfect product for the summer time and was actually released as part of Diors Cherie Bow Spring makeup collection. I was extremely lucky to have won the ever so lovely Liza's from Glam Beautys giveaway over on her blog and i won this absolutely gorgeous Dior Addict lipstick in Charmante #437. It is an absolutely beautiful lipstick, i have been really enjoying wearing it and i thought i would share it with you all today!

Dior Addict | Charmante #437*

The Dior Cherie Bow Collection from Spring 2013 included this beautiful Dior Addict Lipstick in #437 Charmante. Charmante when translated actually means 'Charming' and i think this lipstick is truly a charming and beautiful shade. It is a beautiful peachy, soft-coral lip colour with a super glossy sheen. The collection was Limited Edition so i am unsure whether you will be able to get your hands on this particular lipstick now, but i am sure Dior would have something similar within their permanent line.

The lipstick features the same packaging as the permanent line Dior Addict Lipsticks which i think looks absolutely luxurious, classy and beautiful. The packaging is very unique in comparison to other more high-end and luxurious brands; the stunning clear cap with the embossed 'CD' knob on the bullet, when you look at it you instantly think of Dior.

The Dior addict Lipstick formula is supposed to be hydrating while adding a veil of colour and spectacular shine to the lips. Charmante is sheer in colour, not extremely visible but i feel it would look different on everyone depending on the pigmentation of your lips. For me it does leave a soft coraly sheen to my lips which i think is perfect for everyday for a quick wash of colour to the lips. It really does glide on the lips, leaves them silky soft and does last a considerable amount of time given that it is not as pigmented. I feel this is more of a balm-like consistency rather than say one of Dior's Rouge Lipsticks which give off a more opaque colour to the lips, either way i absolutely love this lipstick and i feel it could definitely be built up slightly to a more medium intensity.

I feel this gorgeous peachy coraly hue is unmistakably perfect for the Spring / Summer season and the glossy sheen tops off the sheer-to-medium buildable colour perfectly. The lipstick is incredibly hydrating and also slightly plumping...it feels almost more like a lip balm, however, it really does offer great coverage. I adore the colour, texture and glow that it gives my lips and i cannot wait to branch out and try some more Dior lip products. I feel it would be a perfect lip product to wear at the beach or by the pool and i am planning on taking this little beauty away with me to LA really soon!

I am extremely grateful and thankful to have won this amazing giveaway hosted by the ever so lovely Liza at Glam Beautys. I hope you all enjoyed this review, i would love to know what you think and any lipsticks you are coveting after at the moment :D Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. Sure Maximum Protection | Confidence Test

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and have had a fabulous week, woohoo it is almost the weekend! So, last week i posted about a 'Sure Maximum Protection' anti-perspirant deodorant which you can see HERE and as promised i am following up with a confidence test. I put Sure Maximum Protection to the test recently in a more personally stressful situation and i am here to let you know how it sufficed under the circumstances.

Normally, i work extremely well under pressure, however, when it comes to something a little bit more out of your comfort zone you sometimes dont always have the control over yourself as you may want. The build up to a situation where your nerves take over and you become slightly more overwhelmed may sometimes bring out a more nervous induced sweat...lets face it, it happens to us all. As much as i try to remain calm, nerves can get the better of you so i am always on the hunt for ways to ensure i stay cool. If by chance a little sweat occurs...we can hide it up with smart outfit choices, fashion is such a wonderful thing. However, the weather can be a main factor also, you will not want to cover up the top half of your body if the sun is shining and it is extremely hot outside as you may be causing more damage to the little 'sweat' situation. Thats why finding the perfect anti-perspirant deodorant is a key component and gives you that extra bit of confidence you might need.

This week i went on a 'First Date' and i thought it would be the perfect opportunity to put Sure Maximum Protection Confidence to the test. A first date can be a little more stressful as it consists of all the 'first impressions' and lets face it you do get a little close. Like i mentioned earlier, Fashion can be a wonderful tool so to be on the safe side just in case it didn't work i did opt for a safe outfit choice. It was still an outfit i felt confident in and loved the look of, rather than wearing something i didn't like just to keep me more cool.  Ahh i do not think i have ever used a better anti-perspirant deodorant...really! Being open with you all, something i really dislike is using a product that does not work and then fearing you actually 'smell' and everyone thinks you do haha...i like to smell pretty, which i am sure we all want! The date was in the evening but did start quite early, obviously i am a girl and it took me hours to get ready haha...i applied the product after showering that afternoon and it stayed strong through the 'getting ready' process, through all the nerves and throughout the whole night. I did apply my favourite Chanel perfume aswell for the evening but i do believe Sure Maximum Protection was a great product to give me that extra confidence i needed and something less to worry about haha. I am extremely pleased with how well it performed and i have been recommending it to everyone.

As a blogger i give myself the excuse that i always have to try new products and review them on my blog for you all...and to try something that actually does work and does what they claim i so refreshing. Sure Maximum protection really does tick all of the boxes for me and i think it will be something i will constantly be using now as i feel so great knowing it works and i will be taking one with me on my travels to LA in a few weeks time!

Offering 48 hour protection with 2x wetness protection and a cream formula that leaves your under arms conditioned and irritation-free, Sure Maximum Protection is available to purchase in four different formulations - Confidence, Everyday Fresh, Sensitive Dry and Clean Scent. For more information on Sure Maximum Protection you can take a peek through the Sure website.

I really have been enjoying putting products to the test and challenging them haha! Hope you all liked this second instalment Sure post. Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Maybelline Baby Lips

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and are having a lovely week so far. So a few weeks ago now i had quite a large shopping spree at Boots, my Dad had given me quite a few vouchers and i though it would be a great idea to go a pick up everything we need for our holiday to LA in a few weeks time...plus pick up a few cheeky bits and bobs for myself haha. So, initially i was on the hunt for some Maybelline Baby Lips but for some reason they were still not on display at all 3 Boots store that i have access to around where i live...so on this occasion i made an excuse to ask a sales assistant and she took me to a drawer completely full of them and made me pick whatever ones i wanted...even though they were not even officially for sale yet haha.

Maybelline Baby Lips is something i am sure a lot of girlies within he beauty community have had their eyes on ever since they were released in the US a few months ago now. I actually put them on my LA Wish List but now they have launched here in the UK there is no need for me to get them now haha...woohoo! There has been a mixture of posts about them so i thought i would also contribute and do a little review on them.

Maybelline Baby Lips | Pink Punch

As you all might know by now, my love for pink lip products is completely endless so yes i had to pick up this beautiful pink Baby Lips in Pink Punch. I would definitely say this is the most pigmented out of the three featured in this post and it does leave a beautiful pink stain to my lips. The shade instantly reminds me of bubble gum and has quite a similar sweet a almost 'punchy' scent much similar to the name itself.

Maybelline Baby Lips | Peach Kiss

A nude is a staple in any makeup bag so i had to give Baby Lips 'Peach Kiss'. It is quite sheer for a nude, it leaves a slight sheen to my lips but nothing in comparison the 'Pink Punch' but it is the type of product i would love to use for those 'no makeup, makeup days' just to add a subtle hint of colour to my lips without it being too over powering or even noticeable. Also, how cute is the name?! I love how all of the names reflect on the shade and are fun, cute and creative.

Maybelline Baby Lips | Hydrate

This is the only non-tinted Baby Lips i purchased and it is in the shade 'Hydrate' and t is one i have been reaching for a lot as i feel it does hydrate my lips a lot more than Pink Punch or Peach Kiss. I have swatched all three Baby Lips in the picture below but obviously being a clear product you will not be able to see it haha but it does feel extremely moisturising on the lips. Also, i really like how the blue packaging reflects on the 'Hydrating' side of the lip balms...the baby blue reminds me refreshing water and it actually does glide on more smoothly than the other two.

I was pleasantly surprised at how hydrating and moisturising they made my lips feel after application, however, i feel you do need to constantly re-apply them to keep the lips moisturised and glossy. They are great for the £2.99 price tag but i do believe they are more of a instant fix rather than something that is going to help your damaged lips. I think they would be great to use in the sunshine as they offer 20 SPF protection and using something with a little tint like 'Pink Punch' would be something different than using say a regular clear lip balm at the beach or by the pool.

The packaging is one of the main things i am drawn too as they look absolutely adorable! I think he bright coloured and creative packaging really attached your eye and in some cases aids within your purchasing decision haha. Lets face it you would instantly find these when searching through your makeup bag and they would definitely inject some fun into your makeup collection. When i first brought them home, opened them up and gave them a try i instantly thought that they reminded me of those 'Baby Makeup Products' that you used to get when you were little in those little gift sets haha. this is not a bad things because obviously they are a lot more better quality but it is just one of those things that just brings back memories of your childhood...something very nostalgic and fun :D

Overall, i have really been enjoying this fun product and i think i would probably purchase some more. Maybelline have just launched some new Limited Edition shades which i will be checking out when i am in LA really soon. If you are looking for something with a little more moisture and overall lip care then you might have to look else but for the £2.99 price i feel this is a great product to throw in your makeup bag on the go. They are just a fun and creative take on a regular lip balm which i don't mind and i am really enjoying.

Hope you all enjoyed this Baby Lips review, i would love to know your thoughts on them and which is your favourite throughout the range if you have tried them! Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Battle Of The VML

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well! Todays post is something a little different but when i found out about the campaign, i thought it would be something fun to share with you all. You are probably all thinking by looking at the title of this post 'What the heck is VML?!' do not worry lovelies, i have you covered. VML is 'Visible Mobile Lines' and George Lamb is on a nation wide fashion crusade to get the 'VML' off the streets of Britain.

Celebrities around the globe have come under fire by Lamb, with the likes of Harry Styles, Justin Timberlake, Matt Smith, HRH Duke of Cabridge, Wayne Rooney, Brad Pitt and Danny from The Script all sportig swollen pockets, thanks to their mobile phones. O2 has recruited the stylish television presenter to take on the battle of the bludge and teach Brit's how to cute a clean silhouette, uaing the new super slim Huawei Ascend P6 smartphone. Atjust 6.18mm thick the phone slips visibly into a trouser or pocket eradicating the ever present VML problemo.

George Lamb said:

‘This has gone long enough. Too long have we stood back and watched innocent people destroy their clothes because they didn’t have another option. This is all about teaching the public that there is another way, they do have choices, and they can save their style. Gone are the days of unsightly bulges straining against women and men’s thighs, O2 and Huawei are their saviour, and I am here to spread the message.’

The move comes as sharp suits and fitted jeans are being ruined more and more frequently by bulky phones distorting their tailoring. O2 are taking it into their own hands as the Huawei Ascend P6 smartphone is made available to their customers. I think when national advertising campaigns are more unique and make you remember them i feel they are overall more effective...this is the business student in me coming out haha. Personally, i have never had an issue with VML as i always store my phone away safe in my bag or i will hold it but i get we have all been there at some point and suffered from VML haha. There is nothing wrong with rocking a VML if you want to i just thought it would be a fun video to share with you all and George Lamb is always really entertaining to watch haha!

Hope you liked this short but sweet post in collaborating with O2! I would love to know how you keep your phone safe when you are on the go! Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Chanel Haul | Superstition Autumn 2013 Collection

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and are having a fab Sunday afternoon! As i mentioned in my previous post i went along to my local Chanel Makeup counter yesterday to see my Chanel girlies and have a little browse through the new Autumn 2013 Superstition Collection which released i believe Friday. I have had my eye on the collection ever since Lisa Eldrige did a makeup tutorial using all of the product being released within the range. Not only did the new Collection launch but also the much anticipated CC Cream which i have seriously been so excited about. One of the MUA Izzy did my makeup using the new collection and the new CC Cream and i literally fell in love with it all. I did restrain myself ever so slightly as i am going away to LA in a few weeks so i intend to totally splurge out there but i couldn't resist haha. So i thought i would show you the goodies i hauled yesterday and if you would like to see full reviews on each product then please let me know. I am intending on reviewing them individually but you guys might want to see something first haha...maybe the absolutely brand new extremely stunning Creme Blushers! haha

The new Autumn 2013 'Supersitition' Collection is based around Gabrielle Chanel who was a firm believer in luck, surrounded herself with her favourite charms and talismans, as much for good fortune as for inspiration. The symbols that warded off superstitious fears now serve as silent muses for an enchanting Autumn 2013 makeup collection. Sumptuous khaki tones are set off by new 'lucky charm' duos: entrancing, shade-matched pairs for cheeks and lips.

Chanel | CC Cream - Beige Rose #32

I have been waiting for the much anticipated CC Cream to be released so when i knew it was being released along side the new Autumn Collection i new knew i had ti give it a try. A little background information about the it -The Chanel CC Cream is a fusion of skincare and makeup and after having this applied to my skin it has now become a holy grail staple product in my makeup bag. With it's Chanel Signature, CC Cream combines 5 actions in 1 single step - Soothes; the cornflower water in the formula comforts sensitive skin. Moisturizes; Hyaluronic acid helps maintain hydration level all day long by trapping and retaining moisture. Protects; SPF 30 and PA+++ sun filters block aging-accelerating UVA-UVB rays. Prevents; an active ingredient of natural origin, Rejucencia provides the best shield against external aggressions. Evens out perfections; redness, dark spots and pores are visibly diminished. After applying a thin layer to my skin within moments the skin appeared flawless and radiant. It can be used on it's own as a 'no makeup, makeup' kind of look or used as a slight primer affect under foundation. It is incredibly light weight on the skin and feels almost undetectable, it gives you a 'new' skin effect hiding away all of your imperfections in an extremely natural way. I believe there are only two shades available the 'Beige Rose' and also 'Beige' which is available in selected countries.

Chanel | Cream Blush - Affinite #65

Just like the CC Cream, as soon as i knew Chanel were releasing new Cream Blushers i literally squealed with excitement. The shade 'Affinite' stood out to me almost instantly and is the brightest of all the shades released within the collection. The new Cream Blushers are a soft and silky cream with a satiny finish that blends into the skin perfectly. It is available in 6 beautiful shades from delicates to more intense colours. This is the blush we chose to use in my makeover and it instantly stood out to us, it is a bright shade but can be applied lightly and more heavier depending on the intensity you are after, so they would look fabulous on a range of different skin tones. I am not 100% sure if Chanel have confirmed this but i also think this could be a versatile product to give a wash of colour to your lips. The consistency is light and creamy and applied of the CC Cream still feels completely weightless and soft to the touch.

Chanel | Soft Touch Eyeshadow - GRI-GRI #101

There are two beautiful soft touch eyeshadows that were released within the new collection and both of them were used in my makeover. Out of the two GRI GRI caught my eye instantly as it has subtle hints of shimmer within the formulation and if you know me then i am a sucker for sparkle haha. It is described on the Chanel website as a 'metallic taupe' with bronze, mauve and gold shimmer. This was applied over my lid with 'Hasard' a matte lavender mauve shade in my crease and they really did compliment each other well. This was the first time purchasing a single eyeshadow quad from Chanel and i have to say they are extremely adorable!

Chanel | Rouge Coco Shine - Rendez-Vous #87

First of all, what a name! Rendez-Vous sounds so Chanel and Parisian. Yet again i got pulled in on another beautiful pink lipstick shade by Chanel...oh lordy the amount of pink lipsticks i have, it is incredibly shocking haha. This beautiful shade is described by Chanel as a 'Intense Blue-Pink' with luminous sheen. I have spoken about Rouge Coco Shines before on my blog and in comparison to Rouge Coco's or say a Rouge Allure they can be slightly more sheer once applied to the lips, however that was not the case with this little beauty. This shade is part of the Colour Range, so it is designed to be more pigmented with a nearly opaque coverage than the original Rouge Coco Shines. When we applied it to the lips during the makeover we were pleasantly surprised, there was even no need for a lip liner! Just by looking at this shade it slightly reminds me of 'Romance' which is a permanent Rouge Coco Shine so it might be something to compare in the future.

Chanel | Le Jour - La Nuit - Le Weekend Skincare Samples*

As you all will be able to see i have been switching up my skincare to find the right products for me at the moment. I received a few samples of the new skincare range Chanel have recently launched Le Visage which consists of - Le Jour (Day), Le Nuit (Night) and Le Weekend during my last haul at Chanel but the lovely girlies at the counter gave me a few more to try out before i make the purchase as the whole set together retails at £172, with a £20 saving if you were to purchase them individually, which wowza is a lot of money haha. Just like the packaging states you use each specific cream during the day, night or 2 consecutive days when you are relaxing (Le Weekend). I am still trying these out but as soon as i finished the new samples i should be able to give you a full review.

Hope you all enjoyed this Chanel Haul post! I don't think i have actually done a haul post on my blog since i purchased the Summer 2013 Collection by Chanel. I have been purchasing a few things in-between, for example, i did a huge Boots haul a week or so ago and i was planning on hauling that for you all but there is literally three bags full of products as they are new goodies to take away with me to my trip to LA in a few weeks time. Let me know if that is something you would like to see...maybe in a few instalments? :D Usually if i purchase something new it will make an appearance on my Instagram (@SophiaMeola), depending on what it is i will either haul it or review it over here on my blog for all of you lovelies :D.

Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Also lovelies, I have been lucky enough to be short-listed in the 2013 #CosmoBlogAwards under 'Best New Beauty Blog'. I still cannot believe i am in the finals it is still so overwhelming and super exciting...i have written a post about it HERE

Lots Of Love
