Have A Boohoo #Dressmas This Christmas

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well? I have a really exciting post for you all today - a sneak peek into the Boohoo Dressmas Christmas campaign and they wanted us all to get involved. Getting ready for the party season especially around Christmas can be difficult. I for one can never decide on an outfit and can always use some girly advice! So, Boohoo have created three teaser trailers with three models holding up items they are thinking of wearing for the official Christmas TV advert which is launching the 4th November! Like all girls they are questioning - If the colour suits them? Could i pull off sequins? Is it too short for me to wear? So, that is why we want you, my lovely followers to cast your vote and let us know which your favourites are and guess which ones might be featured in the Boohoo Christmas TV Advert. Featured below is one of the three adverts from the Christmas Campaign featuring the model Hannah.

You can click here to browse through the Boohoo Dress collections!

I love how all of the teaser trailers include sparkle, because lets face it we all love to wear something sparkly and beautiful especially around the Christmas season - or if you are like me i will find an excuse to wear it all year round haha, I currently have white glittery nails which remind me of snowflakes and it is not even the end of October yet haha. So...those are the three teaser trailers and i would love to know what your thoughts are on them, which are your favourite fashion combinations and which outfits you would like to be seen in the new Christmas Dressmas advert?

Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Dior Creme de Rose Lip Balm Dupe ft Apivita

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and you all had a fabulous weekend. I literally have a few busy weeks ahead with University and i am trying not to stress myself out too much haha. I thought i would mix it up a little bit and post about a fabulous dupe i recently discovered and i took to twitter (@SophiaMeola) to see if you all wanted a post about it and you all said YES, so here i am hoping not to disappoint haha fingers crossed.  As a shopaholic / beauty junkie i literally love all types of makeup and beauty items. Whether that being they are drugstore or high end goodies - I like to have a balance in my makeup and beauty collection and try a bit of everything. Even though i am known to have the occasionally splurge i really do enjoy discovering dupe products, especially if they are half the price of a high end product!

A few months ago i treated myself to the Dior Creme de Rose Lip Balm which has been a holy grail product of mine ever since. The lip balm allies the expertise of Dior research in nutrition to the delicate smoothness of rose petals. All its nourishing powers come from the rare and precious Damask Rose essential oil extract together with an anti-aging complex and Shea butter. I was really sold on this product as Elle from All That Glitters 21 raves about it all the time and it has been a saviour product for me specially now it has got so much colder. This was my first time branching out in a Dior lip balm but i am so glad i did as it is such a beautiful product that actually does work. It has a thick, non sticky texture that applies like a dream onto the lips leaving them feeling extremely moisturised, smooth and plump. Not only is it a great lip balm in itself, but it is also a great lip primer product to use before applying a lipstick or lipgloss.

Interestingly enough a few weeks ago i discovered a pretty great dupe for the Dior Creme de Rose Lip Balm after being sent a lovely package from Apivita. The Apivita Pink Rose Lip Care moisturises and softens lips with olive il, beeswax, cocoa butter, shea butter and avocado oil and leaves a light rose coloured sheen. The rose oil and vitamin E and C help to protect the lips from environmental toxins and prevents irritations. It is packed full of 96% of natural ingredients and is free from parabens, propylene glycol, mineral oil and silicones. As soon as i opened my package and tried out the lip balm i instantly knew that it would be a fabulous dupe for Dior Creme de Rose. They have similar ingredients which include Shea butter, vitamins and rose oil. They have an extremely similar scent which of course smells like beautiful fresh roses and also a very similar shade in colour. The only main and quite visual different would be the packaging.

Packaging wise i really do not mind either one as they both look very chic and pretty. The main issues with potted lip balms is obviously the residue it can leave on your fingers afterwards but that is why we carry around anti bacterial haha. I really do love the vintage white design with the embossed 'CD' logo on the front - by first glance you instantly know it is Dior. The Apivita classic twist up lipstick design would be the more easily accessible option and i do like the fact it is cut at a slant for easy application to the lips. I really like the fact that with all of the lip balms in the range they colour of the packaging reflects on the flavour of the balm itself - such a simple design but i think it is extremely effective and cute. They both leave a sheer pink sheen to the lips which is slightly noticeable and makes the lips look really healthy, plump and moisturised.

I hope you all enjoyed this dupe post featuring Dior and Apivita, i would love to know your thoughts on the products and what you think about the dupe itself and if you would give it a go. It was really fun putting together this dupe and comparison post and hopefully a few more are to come in the near future. If their is something you would like to find a dupe of then let me know and i will try and hunt something down for you haha. If you would like to give Apivita a try you can take a peek through their collection on the Marks & Spencers website.  Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

NSPA | Orient Fragrance

Hello My Lovelies,

It seriously feels like forever since i have posted something on my blog. I am guilty as charged of neglecting my blog the past week and I have University to blame for that haha. The past few weeks have been incredibly manic and i have quite a few important deadlines coming up which are partly for my Dissertation - scary stuff! So thought it was the perfect time to break away from work for a little while and write up a new post for you all. NSPA have three new stunning fragrances; created for you by the experts at the UK's number one Day Spa, Nirvana Spa. The unique scents are inspired by fragrance spectrums used by the worlds leading perfumers to classify individual creations. From spicy woods, to light florals, right through to sensual orientals, each NSPA fragrance is specially formulated to take you on a unique spa journey. Travel through bountiful blossom gardens with Bloom, opulent oriental sanctuaries with Orient and to fresh and clean tropical waters with Pure and find the new signature perfume for you.

I thought i would introduce you to a new fragrance which has been newly added to my perfume collection, Orient by NSPA is a new release alongside two other fragrances and has become a quick favourite of mine to use. NSPA describe it as an oriental scent of ornate orchids, amorous ambers and sensual silks with the combination of sophisticated tone of Lily, Vanilla and Musk. It is infused with essentials oils of Mandarin for a deeply seductive aroma. Choosing a new perfume is a very personal decision and coming from someone who is obsessed with perfumes i totally understand the process that it can take. When i am browsing in a store and i am trying on fragrances i can usually tell if i like a scent pretty much straight away but sometimes i like to go away and see how it settles on my skin as perfumes can smell different on everyone - very weird but so very true!

The longevity of this fragrance is simply amazing and lasts pretty much all day just like my beloved Thierry Mugler Alien which is also another Oriental scent. I think that is great because you do want your fragrance to last as long as possible without the need to constantly reapply throughout the day. As the internet has not invented 'Smellevision' as yet something that is extremely similar that i can compare it to for you all is actually Armani Code for women by Armani and could be a great dupe, the only different is NSPA are selling theirs are £8 and Armani at £56.50 haha. The packaging is really pretty, girly and sleek and i love how it looks out on display. I also love how the design on the botle reflects on the packaging, it i something so simple yet isreally effective and looks so special and put together, it just adds that little something extra.

Overall, i am really enjoying using this scent and it is perfect for everyday use without it being too overpowering like some oriental scents can be. My Mum has even given it her seal of approval as she has been sneakily using it also haha. I think for £8 you can't really go wrong and i feel they would make the perfect stocking filler and gifts now the Christmas season is looming and just around the corner. IF you would like to get your hands on some you can go directly to the website to have a browse through all of their lovely goodies and then stop by a local ASDA who are the official stockists.

I hope you all enjoyed this fragrance post, I would love to know what you think and what your favourite perfumes are. I am always looking for excused to constantly expand my perfume collection.
Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Current Hair Favourites #1

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and are having a fabulous weekend so far. I worked this Saturday so i am looking forward to a lazy Sunday tomorrow! The response i had from my Current Winter Essentials #1 post was really lovely so i have decided to post something similar this evening - my Current Hair Favourites #1. This will cover some of the products i am really loving using on my hair and that are currently featured in my haircare routine. My haircare routine does fluctuate depending on how i am overall feeling (haha being lazy) or if my hair needs a little more TLC.

The John Freida Full Repair Full Body Shampoo and Conditioner just work so well together and i love how they leave my hair after a wash. In combination together they smooth and detangle your hair which reduced the risk of breakage and snagging when brushing - I can really feel the conditioner working on my hair as i can literally comb the conditioner out in minutes (even after a serious backcombing session) and in the past it can take me anything up to 15 or more minutes - goshh the prices we pay for long and luscious hair haha. I have a full review of these little beauties which you can see by clicking here.

This is a cult product in my haircare routine and it has been for the past few months since i received it. I have tweeted about this product like crazy and have had some hilarious tweets back from Mr Phil Smith himself haha. This texturising spay creates sexy tousled waves for instant beach babe status. You can get bounce, definition and texture with this softer rather than super salty spray. I can really tell when i have not used this on my hair as it is more limp, flat and lifeless, lets face it we don't want that, i loves me some volume and umphh to my hair! I like to spay it liberally over towel-dried hair, i then tousle my hair upside down with my fingers making sure the product is distributed everywhere and then blow dry with my head kept upside down for that extra va va volume haha. I am actually almost out of this little gem so will need to make another purchase soon.

This is definitely a holy grail product of mine which i will use without fail on my hair. Not only do i use this product when my hair needs a little saving from an extra day wash but i use it on my clean hair to give my hair umphh! I can not tell you how many times i have repurchased this product but i can tell you that the XXL Volume is my ultimate favourite and works best for my personally. This is slightly different in comparison to other in the Batiste range as it has the benefits of a dry shampoo with ultimate volumising powder - a marriage made in heaven if you ask me!

I was first introduced to this product when my amazing hairdresser used it on me for my 18th Birthday party hair style and i literally have fallen in love with it ever since - bare in mind my 18th birthday was almost 3 years ago haha. I do switch up variations of this from intensity 4 which is the Ice Shine version and also intensity 5 which is the Volume and Body variation - to be perfectly honest there is not a big different between them so i grab which ever one i pick up first from my beauty cupboard. You can literally lock in your hairstyle with a radiance ice shine which lasts all day long with great hold power - I have tested this on many nights out and its fabulous. A few benefits is that it enhances shone for a healthy and radiant look, gives your style an extra strong and long lasting hold and brushed out incredibly easy.

Another fabulous Phil smith product to add to the mix - this volumising mousse gives you the body you have always dreamed of. It has a light-as-air yet quite firm consistency tot he formula which glides onto the hair super easy and smoothly. It delivers a voluminous and glossy finish which i really do love. As i love volume i have to make sure i use a volumising mousse product to ensure my hair keeps the volume i put into it when styling and this in combination with the Phil Smith Sea Salt Spray are a perfect couple and work really well together.

Hair oils and treatments are something that i have recently been introducing to my haircare routine as I am still cautious when using them but they really are a fabulous little product. As i am still testing them out i tend to fluctuate between two - the Moroccanoil Treatment (full review here) and the Macadamia Healing Oil. I use them a mixture of ways depending on how i am feeling and the overall condition of my hair - I will apply a heaver coating before washing my hair for a deep conditioning treatment, i apply it to my wet hair and also to my dry hair taking particular attention to my ends.

I hope you all enjoyed this current hair favourites post and a few of my current favourite products i am currently really enjoying using on my hair. I would love to know your thoughts on any of the products and anything you really love to know what your favourite hair products are! Also, i have found a fabulous dupe for the Dior Creme de Rose Lip Balm so a post on that should be coming your way soon after the amazing response i received off Twitter (you lovely lot) :D Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Current Winter Beauty Essentials #1

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well! Even though i love the Summer i must admit i do enjoy the Autumn / Winter time too...especially because my Birthday is in November. I have really been enjoying layering up and changing up my outfits, i have whipped out a few of my favoured knits and i love paring them with my beloved UGG boots haha. I love nothing more than cosying up, with a few candles burning and relaxing in the evening or on the weekend. So i though i would share a few of my current winter beauty essentials that i am really loving right now, especially with the whole weather changing scenario in the UK at the moment, i couldn't think of anything better to share with you all. These are all products that will be part of my winter beauty regime and i hope you find something that you might love to give a try during the colder months. I will be adding a few more instalments to my winter essentials including a few makeup, fashion and more beauty goodies. Hope you enjoy lovelies!

The Elemis Herbal Lavender Repair Mask is a powerful regenerating mask that contains antiseptic Rosemary, Thyme and Lavender Essential Oils, which synergistically rebalance and purify the skin, making this the ideal mask for skin prone to congestion. I absolutely love applying this all over my skin as a mask whilst relaxing in a pampering bath and letting it work it's magic on my skin. The directions say to keep it on the skin for around 10-15 minutes and you are good to do - when i purchased the product around 6 months ago now the Sales Assistant even told me you could apply a thin layer on problem areas on your skin overnight and simply wash it off in the morning.  It is an all round products which aids with keeping my break outs at bay, keeping my skin moisturised and fresh whilst it gives off the winter warming aroma from the herbal ingredients - I personally love using it all round but it is definitely going to be a favoured winter product during the colder months.

The Nourish Protect Hydrating Moisturiser has a combination of Vitamin C and phytoactive plant oils which restore natural lipids and quench thirsty skin. This wonderful moisturising cream is a fortified signature blend of rich antioxidants that helps naturally to protect your skin with organic Rose-hip oil, organic sunflower oil, organic Orange and Mandarin oils. The Nourish range is still quite new to me but like i always say i do love venturing out and trying out new skincare goodies that will make my skin look amazing. Even though this formulation is for Dry Skin Types as the weather is changing and it gets colder sometimes skin will need a little more moisture and TLC to avoid dry patched on your skin. This is the perfect cream to use during my night time skin care routine as i find it really works throughout the night time and i wake up to 'nourished' and almost revitalised skin.

The Balance Me Super Moisturising Hand Cream is a product i have been using throughout the past months and have actually done a full review on which can be seen here. The unique blend of exceptional moisturisers help skin back from daily wear and tear. It is so effective Balance Me even suggest using it on dry patches all over your body. Along with fatty-acid and vitamin-packed Shea Butter and sweet Almond Oil Balance Me have added two ancient therapeutic skin conditioners; the Egyptians' emblaming agent Benzoin and Yarrow, which legend says Achillies used on his wounded soldiers in the Trojan war - how amazing! Patchouli is a calming essential oil for weathered skin, Carrageenan Gum gives skin a smooth texture and Kukui Nut Oil makes even problem skin super supple. I never used to worry much about hand creams but since using them more often i can tell a difference in the condition of my skin. This hand cream alongside 'Soap & Glory Hand Food' are a few of my favourites that will be getting me by during the colder months haha.

Oh my goodness these are some of the best bath and shower oils I have ever come across. You can experience the ultimate therapeutic splendour with this multi-award winning Miniature Bath and Shower Oil Collection. Complete with all the Aromatherapy Associates Bath and Shower Oils in mini 3ml bottles - they are so cute! As soon as you open the box you are met with a beautiful aroma of essential oils and even more so when you emerse them into a hot bath. Even though they can be used both ways i do prefer to use them in the bath to get the full benefits they offer. Even though i am a huge lover of my Lush Bath Bombs and Bubble Bars these Aromatherapy Oils are something a little different to use and are perfect throughout the winter months. They are so relaxing and really work their magic on the skin - my favourite so far is the 'De-Stress Mind' and it has been perfect with all the University stress i have right now haha. They recommend that one mini bottle can do an entire bath but i actually think that half a bottle is just fine and you can get more uses out of them.

The Righteous Butter by Soap & Glory is something i always have to have stocked up in my beauty collection. I first got introduced to this and a few other Soap & Glory products when i was gifted a set for my birthday a few years ago. The Righteous Butter is something i really love, works amazing on my skin and is a great combination with the bath oils above. It is an award winning body butter with softening Shea butter and aloe vera and it leaves a beautiful scent on the skin. The fragrance lingers on your skin all day long and leaves your skin feeling velvety soft despite it being such a thick and heavy consistency, it really melts into your skin which is perfect for those winter months where skin needs extra moisture.

The Body Shop Mango Beautifying Oil is an all round product that can be used on your body, face and hair. Even thought it is extremely versatile i personally prefer using it on my skin to lock in moisture after a relaxing shower or bath. Occasionally i will mix up my body moisturising products depending on the weather and how i am feeling. Sometimes a thick body butter is a little dubious to moisturise into the skin and sometimes all you want is a quick fix and this oil does exactly that. I have used the oil twice now and have really loved the way it has left my skin, smelling super yummy, moisturised and non greasy as it is a dry oil product. As you can see from the bottle itself it has hardly made a dent in the product, you need the tiniest amount as it really does go a long way.

Lip balms are a must product for me especially during the winter time to ensure that my lips stay healthy during the winter months. The lip balm allies the expertise of Dior research in nutrition to the delicate smoothness of rose petals. All its nourishing powers come from the rare and precious Damask Rose essential oil extract together with an anti-aging complex and Shea butter. I was really sold on this product as Elle - All That Glitters raves about it all of the time. This is my first time branching out into a Dior lip balm but i am so glad i did as it is such a beautiful product that actually does work. Interestingly enough i think i might have found a dupe for this product so i will get that over on the blog really soon too. It has a thick, non sticky texture that applies like a dream onto the lips leaving them feeling extremely moisturised, smooth and plump. Not only is is a great lip balm in itself, but it is also a great lip primer product before applying a lipstick or lipgloss!

Another lip balm to add to the mix but you can never have too many during the winter time! The Lanolips Lemonaid Lip Aid is an ultra rich and creamy whipped lanolin lip treatment with organic lemon oil to naturally exfoliate, leaving the lips fresh, soft and moisturised. The Citric acid in the organic lemon oil acts as a natural exfoliator on dry, dead skin; when applied you might feel a slight tingling ont he lips but have no fear it is just the ingredients working it's magic. Lanolips was another brand i had always heard of but never actually tried as much previously, this is a great little lip balm which is also paraben, petroleum, mineral oil and sulfate free.

What is a winter essentials post without a candle?! I am really been loving and enjoying the Bath & Body Works candles that i picked up whilst i was in LA (post can be seen here). I love the limited edition scents that they do in the cute mason jars as they really add to the whole Autumn / Winter theme. The Pumpkin Pecan Waffle scent is absolutely dreamy and really fills the room with a beautiful warm and cosy scent. I have always loved candles but i am so obsessed right now haha - what are your favourite scents during the colder months?

I hope you all enjoyed this current winter beauty essentials and a few of my current favourite products to use throughout the winter time. I would love to know your thoughts on any of the products and anything you really love to know what your winter essentials are! Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Get The Look | Cat Eye Makeup Tutorial with The Body Shop UK

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and are having a fabulous week so far! I have quite an exciting post for you all today which has been in works for a while now. The Body Shop UK emailed me about collaborating with them for their blog and i literally jumped at the chance at getting involved - The Body Shop is a store i regularly shop at and i have a few holy grail items from them that i literally cannot live without. My cousin Carmela who also runs a blog with her sister Rossana called 'Goodie Rush' is literally obsessed with The Body Shop and whenever we are out we always make sure to stop by and take a browse in store.

Autumn is all about standing out while wrapped up in your winter woolies, and one of the must have looks for this season is the cat eye flick, which can be created simply but adds drama to even the simplest of outfits. I guest blogged for The Body Shop and created a look with a selection of makeup goodies which you can take a peek at by clicking here. The hot look for AW13 is the classic cat eye flick, which has been seen across the runways and is seriously in. When i thought of a cat eye makeup, Cara Delevingne sprung to mine...I remember seeing a picture of her with a super dramatic version of the look: blod eyebrows and a bright pink lip, so i thought i would use this as inspiration for what i am going to create.

Step 1

As we are focusing on the eyes, i have already applied my base makeup and a pink lipstick to create the starting point for my look. We are working with both eyeshadow and liner, and i wanted to make sure the makeup would stay in place all day long and not budge, so i decided to apply a small amount of Lightning Touch Touche Lumiere | #01 | £14* to my eyelids to create a base for the shadows. This is a great method that will give you a slight shimmer to the overall finished (i also applied a small amount under my eyes to help conceal my pesky dark circles). A good tip is to use a foundation brush to pat the Lightening Touch into the skin after dabbing on with the built in applicator.

Step 2

After creating the base, i took the Colour Crush Eyeshadow | #105 Oh, Honey | £7* and applied this as a wash of colour all over my eyelid and up to my brow bone. This is a beautiful pearlescent honey shade which gives you a 'your skin but better' look to the eyes and makes them look more wide awake and striking. I then took Colour Crush Eyeshadow | #110 Sand By Me | £7* (which is a fabulous matte shade) and applied this into the crease of my eyelids to create a little more depth, as the look predominantly focuses on the eyeliner. The combination of the two eyeshadows helps create a perfect classic eye ready for the next step.

Step 3

I then took the and carefully created quite a dramatic winged flick. I have always had a love hate relationship with it as I have never come across one I feel actually works for me and is easy to apply. By using an extremely pigmented liquid liner like this one it really aids with completing the look. I then let the liquid liner dry and then took the creamyand applied to both my waterline and tight-line only making sure to go 2/3 of the way in...this way the eyes still look open and awake looking. The liner is dual ended and comes with a sponge which is perfect for smudging out the liner for a more smokey effect, I personally didn’t use this on this occasion as I wanted It to stay clean cut for a more classic look.

I then took the Liquid Eyeliner | #01 Black | £9* and carefully created quite a dramatic cate eye flick. I have always had a love hate relationship with liquid liner as i have never come across one i feel actually works for me and is easy to apply. By using an extremely pigmented liquid liner like this one, it really aids the process and me me feel more confident in the application. A tip i have been using which has really been helping me with my eyeliner application is by firstly drawing an extended line at the corner of my eye as a quidline, i then bring the flick in to join with my lash liner, then i create a line across my lash line and connect everything and voila. This has been a great method i use every time i apply eyeliner noew, and i feel it really has helped

I then let the eyeliner dry before taking the Carbon Black Eye Definer Crayon Khol | Noir | £9* in black and applying it to my waterline only making sure to go 2/3 of the way in...this way the eyes still look open and awake. The liner is dial ended and come with a liner softner which is perfect for smudging out the line for a more smokey effect (I personally didn't use it this time as i wanted it to stay clean cut for a more classic look).

Step 4

Last, but certainly not least, i curled my eyelashed with eyelash curlers and then applied a generous coat of the Super Volume Mascara | #01 Black | £10*. This is the first time i have used this particular mascara and i am extremely impressed with it. I loved how it helped with making my lashes look longer and fuller. It was a real show stopper for me, and it now has a place in my everyday makeup bag. I love how a few coats of your favourite mascara can just finish off a makeup look.

That is the finished Cat Eye makeup look and i hope you enjoyed my first ever pictorial post. I personally feel the makeup look was extremely easy and quick to achieve and is quite a classic look which could be worn with a wide range of outfits and to different occasions. I definitely feel it could be transformed to a more dramatic look by adding a darker shade into the outer third of the eye for a more smokey effect...the possibilities are endless.

I would love to know what you think about the makeup look! If you would like to take a peek through my post on The Body Shop UK's website you can do so by clicking here. Alternatively, if you would like to check out any of the products mentioned in this post you can do so by clicking hereLike always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

LA Haul #5 | Bath & Body Works Goodies

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and have had a fabulous weekend! I love have lazy pamper Sundays - although you know the weekend is coming to an end, boo! I thought i would post another instalment to my LA Hauls and the goodies i picked up at Bath & Body Works. When i went they were transitioning the products in store for Autumn and Winter items and i kid you not you could literally smell the most yummiest caramel, pecan waffle scent from across the mall and it literally drew us into store. I literally have no idea how i am going to cope when i run out of the items i picked up - I am wishing i purchased a few more and some of the larger candles but we literally could not fit anything else in our luggage haha. I know you can purchase some of the items on eBay and Amazon but the prices are like triple which is insane but know doubt i will be making a purchase when my candles run out *cries*.

The Pumpkin Pecan Waffle scented candle was the one that you could smell from across the mall and it literally drew us in as it was the most yummiest scent ever! So i thought i would pick one up for the Autumn / Winter time to use at home. Bath and Body Works describe this scent as a delight of scrumptious pumpkin pecan waffles with pure maple syrup and a touch of brown sugar - it literally sounds and smells good enough to eat! We then decided to get a few of the mini candles as they are super adorable and were easy to transport home. The first scent we decided to get was Mahogany Teakwood and i kid you not this candles smells exactly like Abercrombie! I am obsessed with the Abercrombie Fierce cologne and actually wear it myself and i absolutely loved the thought og my room smells like an Abercrombie store. Bath and Body Works describe this scent as a cosy fine woods fragrance combined with mahogany, cedarwood and oak which is highlighted by delicate lavender and geranium notes. Words cannot express how obsessed i am with this candle! The next mini candle we wanted to try was Marshmallow Fireside and this is pretty much a self explanatory purchase as i love love love marshmallows, toasting them and even in my hot chocolates. Bath and Body Works describe it as a candle to match the changing seasons with a warm blend of toasted marshmallows, smouldering woods and creamy vanilla which remind you of a cozy evening round a bonfire. This is going to be another favourite throughout the Autumn / Winter time. The last candle we purchased was Frosted Cupcake which is actually the one i initially went into purchase as it is a favoured one amongst the bbloggers community and i am absolutely obsessed with cupcakes. Bath and Body Works describe it as a candle that will really indulge your sweet tooth. There are notes of fresh vanilla bean, sugar, cake batter and a rich buttercream frosting combined to create a sweet fragrance treat which smells like the real deal. Bath and Body Works candles are seriously incredible and if i could i would have purchased every single candle they sold - but unfortunately due to British Airways weight restrictions i had to restrain myself haha. There is nothing i love more than burning a yummy candle during the winter time.

The hand sanitisers (anti-bacs) were something else i had on my wish list that i wanted to pick up whilst i was in LA and i was literally so overwhelmed with the selections out on display in the store i did not know where to start. All in all i must have purchased 30 as they were on a special deal and i wanted some duplicates for back up (sad i know) and i also gave some away for gifts. Everything smells pretty much true to the name and i have thrown a load in my handbags and car so i make sure to have them on me at all times as they are a necessity for me - hand sanitiser is a must wherever i go so these new ones are my new little obsession! The one thing i forgot to add in the pictures was the hand sanitiser holder i picked up but i am sure it will make an appearance on my Instagram soon (@SophiaMeola). It was a pink sparkly one with rhinestones and i thought it shouted uber girlyness and it would look lush on my car keys with my Tiffany and Co key ring - i love matchy matchy things! The hand sanitiser scents i decided to pick up were...

John Freida | Full Repair Range

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and enjoying your weekend so far! I feels like the weather has changed so dramatically over night, it is so extremely cold and i had to whip out my UGGs this morning. If you know me then you know how much i love my UGG boots and i would pretty much live in them the whole year round but i tried to hold off as long as possible as i did not want to say goodbye to Summer just yet haha. Today i have a haircare review for you all featuring a few John Freida products i have been enjoying lately. I was thinking about posting about my haircare routine as i have never done it before so please let me know if that is something you would like to see.

I must have tried and tested out near enough every shampoo and conditioner you could possibly think of as i am constantly on the hunt for a Shampoo and Conditioner duo that work with my some what unruly hair. I have quite long hair which has a natural curl / wave and even though their is a lot of hair my hair is actually quite fine which is quite unusual haha. I used to colour my hair a lot which i regret now as i do absolutely love my natural hair colour - it took me a while but my hair is all natural now and completely colour free, i used to have blonde tips for ages but it went well with the whole ombre trend whilst the colour was still growing out. Even though that is the case it is still nice to use a repair product because you know you are going to get that extra bit of TLC your hair might need.

Using a combination of both products for a few weeks now and i can honestly say i have seen a different in my hair. I tend to wash my hair every other day and using this duo i have found my hair is a lot shinier, has a lovely scent after wash and the conditioner does not make my hair greasy. Even though the formula states that it adds volume to hair i can't see it drastically on my hair but that is personally me, i have a lot of heavy hair and getting volume is quite difficult for me *cries* - it could work different on everyone. The John Freida Full Repair and Full Body Shampoo has a combination of Inca Inchi oil combined in the formulation which is a lightweight micro-oil rich in omega-3 which repairs the overall look and feel of overworked hair, adds beautiful body and aids with detangling to reduce risk of breaking and snagging when combing out your hair. This is perfect for me as i find after combing my conditioner out it can be quite a timely task depending on how much product / backcombing i used since the last wash, slap on the wrist i know but i love big volumous hair. Since using the Full Repiar Conditioner i found that i am having less breakage from combing out the conditioner which is amazing and it has really got me wanting to try the Deep Repair Mask within the same range.

The packaging is really sleek and chic, i love the red shade and it definitely makes a statement in my shower haha. Even thought i haven't finished them yet i feel it would be easy to scrape every last drop out as it is a squeezable packaging or you could even cut the top off. I don't do this all the time but if it is a product i loveee then i will make it my mission to scrape every last drop out and lets face it we all want to get our moneys worth.

John Freida Repairing Oil Elixir is essentially another deep conditioning hair oil much like Moroccan Oil but one with a slight twist. For one it is jam packed with hair conditiong ingredients that reduces breakage and creates visibly repaired, smooth and more manageable hair without weighing it down. The oil contains Inca Inchi Oil like the other products within the range which is one of the highest sources of omega fatty acids in the world and contains 47x more Omega-3 than Aragon oil - pretty interesting fact!

Hair oils are something that have occasionally scared me in the past because they can be 'over used' and cause more damage than good. We have all been there when we have added a little too much product...i am guilty myself haha - that is why i do love the fact that the bottle has a handy pump to hand which makes usage a lot easier and mess free. I have used this Oil Elixier both in my wet hair before drying and on my dried hair focusing on my ends to add smoothness and a glamorous 'non-greasy' shine. I have really liking this oil and i have been using it in conjunction with my haircare routine - it is a great versatile products as it also acts as a heat protectant for when i am drying or styling my hair. Ever since using it i have noticed a slight reverse effect on my hair, it is looking more healthy and shiny which is exactly what i want. If you are not a huge fan of hair oils that are used in this way then of course you can use this as a pre-shampooing treatments so you have all of the benefits of the conditioning oil without the worry about over applying like i stated earlier haha. I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for something to pamper your hair on those days when it needs a little more TLC.

If you would like to give these products a try you can purchase them from most leasing supermarkets or even online at Boots or Superdrug. I have found the prices do vary depending on where you purchase them. I hope you all enjoyed this haircare review, i would love to know what haircare products you are swearing by right now especially during the weather change. If you would like to see a haircare routine please let me know. Like always lovelies, if you have an questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you all and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!
