Barcelona Haul: Part 1 | Ft. Tom Ford, YSL, Bobbi Brown & More

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well! I am still buzzing from my week away to Barcelona. We had such an amazing time away and i cannot wait to fill you in on all the antics! I did a similar post to this last year so thought i would carry on the tradition and show you all what i picked up on my travels this past week. Like the title says above...this is going to be 'Part 1' of the haul and will cover all of the beauty goodies i picked up. If you follow me on Instagram then you would have seen a sneak peek of a few other goodies which will be gracing my blog within the next week or so...which i am overly super duper excited about haha. I also have another exciting post which will be going live on the 1st July which i am also super excited about to finally share with you all...so keep an eye out for that!

So whilst away in Barcelona i picked up a few beauty goodies at Heathrow Terminal 5 Duty Free, Sephora, throughout the Barcelona City and then Barcelona Duty Free...a nice little combination there haha.

Tom Ford | Lip Colour Shine in #1 Chastity

This is the first edition to my Tom Ford Collection...and what a surprise it is a pink lipstick ;) I have been seeing alot of Tom Ford beauty gurus grace the bbloggersphere and Instagram and i have been so tempted ti dive in myself and pick up a few gems. Walking through Heathrow Terminal 5 i instantly caught a glimpse of the Tom Ford counter and i literally squealed. I have already set my heart of a few goodies which i hope to pick up on my travels to Los Angeles in September and after trying this lipstick i seriously cannot wait. The formulation is very much similar to a Chanel Rouge Coco Shine where as they are more sheer and glossy in comparison to an opaque lipstick. It was seriously love at first sight and after swatching it i knew i had to make it mine haha.

YSL | Rouge Volupte #8 Fetish Pink

I think it's becoming a habit of mine to purchase YSL lipsticks at the Duty Free in Barcelona. I just think YSL as a brand are wonderful and who can resist their eye-catching luxurious packaging...i am a right sucker for pretty packaging. Yet again i picked up another beautiful Pink Lipstick to add to my ever growing collection. When i first saw 'Fetish Pink' it instantly reminded me of a true Barbie Lipstick shade! I cannot wait to use it throughout the summer as it is such a pretty and fun shade.

Too Faced | Sweethearts Perfect Flush Blush

I picked up this little beauty in the Barcelona Sephora and I am seriously loving it. It smells and looks good enough to eat and looks stunning on the cheekbones. It had three shades of beautiful blush merged together in a pretty heart shaped container which almost reminds me of 'Charbonnel Pink Marc de Champagne Truffles' also extremely delicious! First impressions it reminds me of Benefit Sugarbomb box blush so i am super excited to compare the two.

Bobbi Brown | Travel Exclusive | Wilde Rose Shimmer Brick

I am already a fan of the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks and one i use regularly is in the shade 'nude' and is one of my go to highlighters on a daily basis. I found this little beauty in the airplane duty free magazine...i was instantly drawn to the unique black and gold packaging and the fact it was a travel exclusive. I cannot wait to experiment with this beautiful palette.

Bioderma | Sensibio H20

Ever since i reviewed my sample of the Bioderma Sensinio H20 (Here) i have been dying to get myself a full sized bottle. We found this 500ml bottle in a local pharmacy in the Barcelona city at such a reasonable price i couldn't walk away. I also love the fact that it comes with an in-built pump system so i can use it just as i want without wasting any solution when pouring onto cotton pads. I havent opened it yet as i want to use a few other things up first, however, i think it might be a re-fillable bottle, so fingers crossed i may be able to fill it up again in the future, if i cannot bare to part with it haha. The handy pump will make makeup removing time so much easier! After doing a little research on this particular bottle i discovered that it is actually 'Limited Edition' and is not being released in the UK till the 28th June...so thank you Barcelona for that.

Vera Wang | Princess

I think this is a perfume that is know to everyone and i seriously cannot believe it was not part of my collection sooner. I will admit, i got this little beauty because it was on a fabulous offer at the Barcelona Duty Free...after browsing through the perfume section i noticed that perfume has gotten extremely expensive?! Mum actually spotted this out for me and she knew that i had been eyeing it up for a while now so...thanks mummy :D

So that is Part 1 of my Barcelona Haul showing you all the beauty goodies i picked up. I would love to know yours thoughts, if you have tried anything or if you have any recommendations for me! Like always lovelies if you have any questions or request pretty please do not hesitate to contact me or leave a comment below. I love hearing from you all and it makes my day...i read every single comment and will get back to you as soon as.

KIKO | Long Lasting Colour Lip Marker in True Red

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well! I am super excited as i jet off to Barcelona in the early hours of the morning. Its a mix between business and pleasure so i cannot wait to escape to the sunshine. Barcelona is a beautiful city and i have been a few times now...the Sephora there is one of the biggest in the world! Stopping by again is deffinitely on my list of things to do haha.

I will still be active on all my social media whilst out there but i thought i would try and get another post up before i leave...may even be cheeky and upload something whilst i am out there haha. If you have been i would love to know your favorite places to stop by around the city!

I decided to post about another favoured lip product of mine...the 'KIKO Long Lasting Colour Lip Marker' in 'True Red'. If you read my blog then you know how much i love my pink lip combos so this was something completely different to try. Red lip shades used to scare me as i never used to think they suited me...but i have been adventurous and have loved going brighter on the lips!

These are the innovative, extremely long lasting a no transfer lip markers. First impression when i first swacthed the lip marker...OMG it seriously did not budge! These bad boys have serious staying power and i had a mark left on my arm for a good day and a half haha. Not complaining thought...that is exactly what you want in a Long Lasting Lip Marker such as this so a huge thumbs up to KIKO for the super long lasting formula. I also tested the transfering and it did not budge or smudge throughout the day which is perf...i hate nothing more when your eating and your lipstick goes everywhere (shock horror) haha. The Lip Marker did not dry out my lips, although i would suggest making sure they are scrubed and moistursed before hand as the formula dries instantly on your lips...and you dont want it drying on chapped lips as it will not budge haha. I used my LUSH Bubblegum Lip Scrub with my EOS Strawberry Sorbet Lip Balm before applying the Lip Marker.

The water based formula, combined with special filming polymers guarantee a natural effect on the lips whilst maintaing a weightless feeling on the lips which is fab...not sure about you but i do prefer something that feels light ont he lips. The Lip Markers offer maximum comfort during application, immediate adherence to the lips and an adaptable intensity colour release. The fluid texture dries extremely quickly leaving behind an ultra-fine film on the lips. The formulas are also paraben free and are hypoallergenic to ensure minimum instance of allergic reactions.

As these are designed around the Lip Marker trend the slightly rounded percision tip allows you to outline the contour and fill the lips with the desired colour intensity, for an effect that goes from semi-transparent to full on intensive bold shade. The amazing part is that the formula is enriched with moisturising active ingredients which leaves your lips smooth and super soft to the touch. It has a slight fruity scent which makes it even more fun apply! It is not overpowering as some lip scents can be...its very subtle and refreshing.

These little beauties are available in 8 resistent matte shades -

Beige
Orange Red
Peach Red
Deep Pink
True Red
Apple Red
Plum
Hot Pink

As you know i love my pink lip shades and corals for the summer i am ever so tempted to purchase and try out "Peach Red' and 'Hot Pink'...and for £6.90 you can't go wrong! Which ones would you try?

I hope you enjoyed this post, i would love to know yours thoughts and if you have tried out the KIKO Long Lasting Colour Lip Markers! If you have any questions or requests pretty please do not hesitate to contact me or leave me a comment below!

Seacret | Mineral-Rich Hydrating Mud Shampoo

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all well and your week has been great so far! The past week has been jam packed...it was my Daddy's birthday the 12th June so still sending major happy birthday shoutouts to him! I've been working and getting ready for my trip away next week to Barcelona...woohoo only 4 days to go!

So, a few weeks ago the lovely girls at 'Baobella' got in contact with me in regards to a range called 'Seascrets' and offered to send me some goodies to try out...i absolutely jumped at the chance as i am forever trying to find the right products to tame my extra long and extra thick locks haha! Slap on the wrist i know...but i had never heard of the brand before so i had to do a little research to see what they are all about and what they offer...

The therapeutic powers of the Dead Sea's Natural Minerals have been sought after since accient times for their power to heal and relieve the skin and hair. For a period lasting hundreds of millions of years, nature created in the Dead Sea region one of the most unique reservoirs of minerals on earth. Sounds pretty amazing right! The Dead Sea contains 26 essential minerals including...Sodium, Magnesium, Calcium, Bromine and Potassium. Twelve of the minerals found in the Dead Sea do not exist in any other sea or ocean in the world! Some are know to have unique qualities. For instance, giving a feeling of relaxation, nourishing the skin, activating the blood system and healing rheumatic diseases and metabolic disorders. Also, the natural minerals are essential for correct functioning of the human body and the different skin layers. Seacret Spa has developed a unique skin care series with natural recipes of accient secrets for relaxation, rejuvenation and healthy skin to experience in the comfort of your own home.

This was my first ever time using a 'Mud Shampoo'! Instantly when i read it was a 'Mud' product it initially made me think of those luxurious spa mud treatments you can get and that you see in movies! So first impressions i thought it would be a luxurious type of product. The Mineral-Rich Hydrating Mud Shampoo brings back the mystical qualities of the Dead Sea Black Mud to your haircare routine. It is described to make your hair look and feel like never before...so high expectations on the line. It is loaded full of beneficial ingredients such as Argan Oil, Silk Protein, Pro Vitamin B5 and Vitamin E to hydrate, nourish and replenish your hair. It is also Paraben free and is suitable for all hair types.

It has a lovely scent to the formula, much like a shampoo that is used in a professional salon. It also leaves a light scent behind which is very refreshing. Like i stated earlier about how you would associate mud shampoo with a spa...you would also associate this kind of product to have a mud kind of colour. Surprisingly this one is not that dark in colour in comparison to others i have seen. Most shampoos can be either clear or an off pearlised shade or other Mud shampoos can be a full on dark liquid...this product has a kind of light pearlised taupe shade...so you don't feel too scared when applying it to your hair.

The texture is extremely silky smooth and left my hair and scalp feeling smooth, moisturised and soft to the touch. I have quite thick and naturally curly/wavy hair and i usually need a conditioner to comb out my locks...however, i found that there was no need for a conditioner. I still applied a tiny amount as it is part of my hair care routine but all the nourishing ingredients like the Argan Oil had a fabulous affect on my hair. After drying my hair without any kind of products i absolutely loved how the Mineral-Rich Hydrating Mud Shampoo left my naturalwaves, it was silky soft, bouncy and my natural hair looked really luscious and more defined...if that makes any sence. I kind of felt like one of those girls in those Hair Product adverts ont he TV haha!!

When using any type of shampoo or conditioner i find my hair can get 'too clean' and can be lifeless so thats why i need to use a type of dry shampoo on a daily basis to give my hair more umph and volume. This shampoo was no different...it's just my hair, i have not found the perfect product to give my hair volume! However, Seacret only claimed that this shampoo would mega nourish and hydrate and it did just that and my hair feels in amazing condition...and only after a few uses!

I am super impressed with this product so far...it's about half way finished and i'm thinking i need to head over the the Seacrets website and see what else i could try out! Hope you all enjoyed this review, i would love to know your thoughts and if you have ever tried a Mud shampoo! Like always lovelies if you have any requests or questions please do not hesitate to contact me or leave a comment below!

Chanel La Favorite Rouge Allure Velvet Lipstick

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well! Not sure about you guys but the weather this weekend for me wasn't that great in comparison to the week we just had! It was so cloudy and was barely any sun...boo! Was seriously not impressed haha. Hopefully this week will be a little more different! Although, i am super excited as my parents surprised me to a spontaneous trip to Barcelona next week! So cannot wait to tan it up over there for a few days!

I went out with the girlies Saturday night and i decided to rock one of my current favorite lipstick right now which i picked up recently in my 'Chanel Summer 2013 Makeup Collection Haul' a few posts ago. It is a beautiful coral shade which i am loving lately! Also, how fitting...it is actually called 'La Favorite'. Chanel must have read my mind because this beautiful velvet matte coral shade was pretty much destined to be one of my favorite lipsticks in my collection and will be for sure for the up coming summer months.

La Favorite is described as a 'glamorous coral red shade' by Chanel. I can definitely see why, however, when i swatch it and apply it to my lips it is a much more coraly pink shade. Even though the finish is a matte it does leave a silky sheen look after application. It applied like a dream, extremely smooth and it did not sink into any lines. With other Matte lipsticks i find they can be quite drying on the lips, however, this Rouge Allure Velvet was not drying at all and i was pleasantly surprised at how well it stayed on my lips throughout the night!

When applying for the first time i did notice that it applied a little sheer, not completely an opaque shade on the lips. The Rouge Allure range are meant to be quite pigmented in comparison to the Rouge Coco Shines which leave a sheer wash of colour to the lips. After leaving the lipstick to settle on my lips for a few minutes i then went back and applied another coat just to amp up the intensity and i honestly have to say i am completely in love with it! After application i used the powder and tissue trick...and added a light dusting to ensure that it was not going to budge all night haha.

Even though i applied two coats of the lipstick to my lips i found it incredibly lightweight and barely noticeable. I did notice a little transferring when having a drink before we left for the night but nothing too drastic at all...after looking in the mirror i still had a good amount of lipstick on and you wouldn't have been able to tell i had a drink.

Overall, i would definitely recommend the Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet line and this beautiful lipstick shade to anyone. It's the type of shade that would look stunning on a wide range of skin tones and would look different one everyone. I do believe that this lipstick was part of the Chanel Spring 2013 Makeup Collection so i would assume that it is Limited Edition...which is really sad because i actually don't know what i'll do when it runs out!

I hope you liked this lipstick review, what have been your favorite lipsticks to wear lately? Like always lovelies, if you have any questions or requests pretty please do not hesitate to leave a comment below or contact me via my social media platforms above :)

Beautiful Creatures Palette By Pur Minerals

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and enjoying this lovely weather we are having! I am in the best mood ever and overall been really happy...It's amazing what a little sun can do to you haha

So a few days ago i received a lovely little packages of goodies which i am overly excited about to share with you all. Amongst all of the goodies was this absolutely stunning 'Beautiful Creatures' palette by Pur Minerals which was inspired by the recent film and book series. I literally had the shock of my life because it is such a beautiful palette... packaging and products wise. I really couldn't be happier!
To coincide with the release of the 2013 film 'Beautiful Creatures', Pur Minerals teamed up with Warner Bros to release a limited edition eyeshadow palette, inspired by the film and the book series. The palette includes 8 beautiful eyeshadows, a pretty lipgloss called 'Lust' and a black eyeliner pencil in 'Black Magic'. Such fabulous names!

Beautiful Creatures Palette By Pur Minerals*

Firstly the packaging is absolutely beautiful! The detail one the front and the back is so lovely and it was one of the first things i noticed as it is really bold and has so much detail. The detail on the gate reminds me of the film instantly, which i'm guessing the whole idea behind it as it has meaning in the film. Might i add i absolutely loved the film and have seriously watched it a good few times now! What do you think about it?

The eyeshadow shades in the palette have been created so that either 'Light' or 'Dark' looks can be created, which i think it a great concept as it is an inspiration from the film itself. I'm absolutely loving all of the eyeshadow names as they each have a meaning to the film and what goes on with the characters. The formulation and texture of the eyeshadows are lovely, they are extremely pigmented even though my swatches don't give them enough justice! They are very buttery and apply like a dream! Instantly i though a few shades reminded me of Urban Decay & MAC and could be great dupes...who doesn't love a good ol' dupe?! Listed are the eyeshadows in order in the palette and swatched on my arm...

Forbidden (Taupe)
Supernatural (Nude)
Siren (Moss)
Spellbound (Neutral)
Fate (Mushroom)
Fantasy (Violet)
Secret (Pink)
Cursed (Plum)

'Forbidden' reminds me of a MAC Mulch shade, 'Siren' MAC Sumptuous Olive, 'Fate' Urban Decays Moondust Eyeshadow in Space Cowboy except this has less sparkle, 'Secret' MAC Shroom / Naked Lunch and 'Cursed' MAC Beauty Marked! What do you think? Anything remind you of one of your fave eyeshadows?

The included Lipgloss is also lovely, if you read my blog then you know my obsession with pink lipglosses, so this will go down a treat haha. The eyeliner is surprisingly pigmented, i know with other special edition palettes you can get kind of dodgy eyeliners that scrape your eye and literally leave nothing behind when applying them, so super impressed with that. Lastly, the included eyeshadow brush is really lovely! It reminds me of a MAC 239 and applies the eyeshadows great. There was no fallout at all when using the eyeshadow brush which is great because yet again special edition palettes can comes with useless brushes that pick up no product at all haha...anyone else had this problem?!

The thing i really love about this palette is the fact i really like every single shade of eyeshadow included. I'm quite fussy and unless i've built my own eyeshadow palette it's rare to find one you love all of the shades included. I can really see myself utilising this palette on a daily basis and for dramatic evening looks. The colour combinations so so well together, so you can literally mix up the shades and create an array of different looks.

This is the first time i have tried Pur Minerals Eyeshadows and i am absolutely loving them and i cannot wait to browse through their website and see what else i can try haha (Shopaholic). Overall, i feel Pur Minerals have done an amazing job with this collaborated special edition palette! The little extras plus the beautiful eyeshadows make this an fabulous purchase. If you would like to get your hands on a palette you can go straight to the 'Pur Minerals' website and take a peek at all the goodies and this listed palette. Unfortunately, as the palette was created exclusively in the USA it is not available to purchase here in the UK.

I hope you enjoyed this post i would love to know your thoughts on the palette :D would you be create a light or dark look...haha get it ;) If you have any questions or request please do not hesitate to contact me or leave a comment below!

Chanel Summer 2013 Collection Haul

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all well and enjoyed the ever so lovely weather we were having today! Got my fingers crossed that it will last over the weekend and start to stay hotter for the summer months.

I have quite an exciting post on the new Chanel Summer 2013 Makeup Collection which launched in stores yesterday! I was very kindly invited to another special event to try out all the new goodies and get my makeup done... I absolutely jumped at the chance. I will be showing you all the goodies i picked up as well as show you my makeover with all the products used, which may feature in another post depending on how long this one is as i did pick up quite a bits :D haha. I will be doing individual reviews on all the items mentioned in this post so pretty please let me know which ones you would like to see first :D

The new Summer 2013 Collection is called 'L’ÉTÉ PAPILLON DE CHANEL' and the dazzling colours of butterflies inspire joyful looks for your face and fingertips with this Summer collection. Your lashes will flutter with electric shades of mascara, your eyelids adorned with gleaming colours and your nails and lips complete with sunlit brilliance shades.

Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick | Idylle

I have a few Coco Shine Lipsticks in my makeup collection now and i think they are so lovely to apply and look very subtle but chic at the same time. It looks like a pale peach when swatched a little more heavily as they are know to be quite sheer. It has small particles of shimmer which look stunning when the light hit. Even though the two lipstick shades in this collection were both stunning, i opted for this one as i am absolutely loving anything coral or peach for the summer.

Brilliant Extreme Glossimer | Zephyr

Yet again i have accumulated a few of these stunning Glossimer's in my makeup collection now. I first picked a few up in the LA duty free a few years back and i have never turned back! There are three different shades in the Summer Collection and i opted for this shade as i feel it is the perfect match with my Rouge Coco Shine. After swatching all three i did notice that they all come out very sheer so you could accompany any shade with a wide range of lipstick choices. This stood out to me instantly after watching Lisa Eldridges video on the collection, it is a stunning nude shade with slight hints of shimmer, very much similar to the Rouge Coco Shine.

Stylo Eyeshadow | Moon River

OMG! These are some of the best eyeshadow pencils i have ever used! I currently have 3 shades of these on my eyes right now and they have not budged or creased at all! When i first swatched these i was instantly blown away at how creamy they were, seriously soft and silky to the touch. Moon River is a type of shade which i would constantly reach for when doing my eye makeup. It is extremely wearable but could be used for a dramatic look also, it has slight flecks of shimmer and glitter which makes me love them even more. These are Chanel's first ever Stylo Eyeshadows and i want them to be part of the permanent line!

Inimitable Mascara | Blue Note

How amazing is this colour?! Yet again i saw Lisa Eldridge use this in her recent video on the Summer Collection and it really did tempt me to purchase one for my makeup collection. Believe it or not but this is my first ever Chanel Mascara, personally i could never really justify spending that much on a mascara which dries up so quickly, but also i do love layering on all my drugstore mascaras haha. When seeing all the beautiful shades in the Collection i couldn't not pick one up. Back in the day when my Mum was in Upper School she used to wear blue mascara alllll the time and she even had a cheeky little nickname as her lashes always looked amazing! So this is really a super nostalgic product :D In my makeover they used the new Le Volume mascara and id  have to say i am really liking it so far so my opinion on higher end mascaras might be changing haha.

Rouge Allure Velvet Lipstick | La Favorite

This beautiful lipstick is not part of the Summer Collection but in fact the Spring 2013 Collection but i did purchase this along with everything else and thought it would be rude not to include it in this post right?! haha. This glamorous coraly red lipstick was used in my makeover and i fell in love with it as soon as i saw it applied to my lips. If you read my blog then you know i'm very much a pink lips girly but i am super loving these coral shade sfor the summer time and this is going to be much loved addition to my lipstick collection. After having my makeup done a makeup artist from Dior who has worked with a wide range of famous celebrities like 'Kylie Minogue' and Fashion Weeks around the globe came over to me and complimented how my makeup looked on me and that he loved the lipstick shade on me! Now, for a man to notice little things like that i was sold even more! :D

I never leave the Chanel counter without some lovely sample goodies to bring home and try out. I actually have a drawer at home with all of my Chanel samples and other branded samples to use. Love me a good ol' sample :P I was given two samples of the new 'Le Volume' Mascara, some skincare and four beautiful red lipstick samples with a mini brush...how fabulous!

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Pretty please let me know what you think about all these goodies and if there is anything i might of missed that i should pick up :D like always lovelies if you have any requests, questions or recommendations please do not hesitate to contact me or leave a comment below.

The #CosmoBlogAwards have launched and after much deliberation i have decided to enter this year. So if you like and enjoy reading my blog and would like to nominate me for 'Best New Beauty Blog' I would really appreciate it and will love you forever haha. Nominations close Monday so there is only a few days left :D You can do so by clicking HERE :D Thank You!
