Lee Stafford | Fat Flexible Hold Hairspray

Hello My Lovelies,

I hope you are all doing well, had a fabulous Christmas and are planning an even more fabulous New Years. I have been neglecting the blog ever so slightly due to other commitments over the last few weeks so i was eager to get a new post up for you all. I am so excited for the new year, the possibilities are endless. 2014 is going to be amazing…it's going to be my year…and i cannot wait! Considering it is the party season, one thing that is a definite must for me is a fantabulous hairspray that will keep up with my hairs requirements throughout the day or night. I was recently sent the Fat Flexible Hold Hairspray by Lee Stafford and it is literally one of the best hairsprays i have ever used…it has even converted my Mum and she keeps stealing it from me!

I first used it for a night out during the end of November and i curled my hair using my Enrapture Totem Styler and applied the hairspray and was instantly so surprised at how it left my hair feeling. Unlike other hairsprays it still left my hair silky smooth and feeling like my natural hair. The formulation has Dynam X® and Style Memory to hold any hairstyle in place but with fabulous freedom and flexbility. This Fat Flexible Hold Hairspray left my curls firmly in place without leaving any visible evidence of hairspray…a hairspray without stickiness or stiffness sounds like the perfect styling product for glamorous but natural hairstyles. You really get big bouncy beautiful hair you can still run your fingers through and as an added bonus, the Fat Flexible Hold Hairspray is fragranced with a sweet signature scent by Lee Stafford.

I love using this hairspray to keep certain hairstyles in place but also to give my hair the added volume it needs. As i have pretty long and thick hair, volume can be quite hard to obtain so i simply tip my head upside down, spray some hairspray about an arms length away from my head, shake my roots, toss my hair back and there you go…va va voom volume in no time.

If you would like to give this Lee Stafford product a try or any product within the range you can take a peek at the range on the Boots.com website. I think for £6.49 it is such a reasonable price and you are getting a pretty reasonable size product. I have been using this hairspray since November near enough everyday and when i shake the container it hasn't even made a dent as a little goes a long way.

Hope you all have a fabulous New Years Eve!

Christmas Eve Winter Warmers ft. Teapigs

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well? Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Hope you all have a fabulous evening and lead up to Christmas day. We are having some Christmas Eve festivities round my Aunties house this evening…being Italian we do the whole Fish eating scenario, even though, i am not a big fish eater myself! Tomorrow for Christmas Day we are all round my house for some festive antics, quality time, lots of yummy food and drink amongst everything else!

I wanted to post something new on my blog before Christmas so i thought i would show you a new tea i have really been loving. I was recently sent it to try by Teapigs and it is their Spiced Winter Red Tea. It's no secret that i am quite partial to a cup of tea so i was extremely excited to give it a try as soon as i saw it arrive on my doorstep. Teapigs established in 2006 when two individuals with a passion for tea met whilst working at another tea company. The more they tasted and learnt they came to realise that there's a whole world of quality teas out there that simply aren't getting the attention they deserve…and so Teapigs was born.

Teapigs describes their Spiced Winter Red Tea as 'Christmas in a Cup' and i think that sums this tea up perfectly. They have picked out the best bits of winter with this tea with ingredients such as rooibos (redbush) with orange, cloves and cinnamon. It is the perfect winter warmer that is delicately spicy without being too strong. Usually spiced teas such as Chair are made using black tea so having tried a new tea with rooibos i think they go perfectly together. It is much lighter and refreshing, and because its naturally caffeine free you can enjoy this tea at any time of the day. I do enjoy a cup of tea in bed whilst catching up on some blogging.

Teapigs recommend using one tea bag in your favourite mug, I have chosen my new favourite Christmas mug, and then let it brew for around three minutes of more to get the best taste out of the tea bag. Whole leaves such as the ones used in this tea bag take a little longer to brew, even though that's the case it will be worth the wait. Then you can wither have it as it is, add some milk, Honey for added sweetness or even a little Brandy for that even more totally festive brew. It's so fabulous watching the leaves brew in the cup as you can see what exactly is going and what makes this tea so incredibly delicious, plus it leaves your Kitchen smelling just like Christmas or how Santa's Grotto would smell haha.

A little added bonus is that all of the packaging is green and environmentally friendly. It is 100% recyclable and the tea bags, or tea temples as Teapigs like to call them, are made with biodegradable cornstarch. I hope you all enjoyed this Tea related post and you all have a fabulous Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! I will be enjoying a cup of this fabulous winter warming tea this evening whilst watching Norad and tracking Santa's every move! Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I loveee hearing from you all i make sure to read every single comment…they really make my day!

Christmas Gift Guide | Weleda Sea Buckthorn Hand Cream Christmas Cracker

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well? Only 4 more sleeps until CHRISTMAS…are you excited?! I am super excited!! All i have been doing is watching Christmas feels in the evenings when I've come home from work...they are so addictive! *Insert Elf quote here* :P I love the Christmas season, spending quality time with family, the giving and receiving of gifts and eating lots of yummy food! Being only 4 more sleeps away i thought it is still pretty appropriate to write about gift ideas for those of you who might be in need of a little last minute inspiration.

In the past i have posted a few reviews on some Weleda products and overall I have really enjoyed them. I was sent this super adorable Christmas cracker and i couldn't resist not featuring it on my blog. For £3.50 you get this fabulous cracker filled with one of It is the perfect stocking filler or secret Santa gift and for £3.50 it's such a fun and unique idea. There are 10 different varieties to choose from which feature mini versions of some iconic Weleda goodies and for £3.50 you can't really go wrong!

I literally thought these Weleda Christmas Crackers were the cutest thing ever when i first saw them. This particular crackers contains and features a fabulous mini version of their Sea Buckthorn hand cream. Like i said earlier, i feel these would make perfect stocking fillers, secret Santa's gifts, tree decorations and Christmas favours around the dinner table. The Sea Buckthorn range is an intensive care for dry hands. The key ingredients, biodynamic sea buckthorn oil, is extremely rich in essential fatty acids, Pro vitamin A and Vitamin E. The nourishing combination of sea buckthorn and sesame oil provides a hydrating boost for hard working hands to help restore the natural function of the skin. The essential oils provide the fresh fruity fragrance.

I remember purchasing 'make your own' cracker sets for Christmas a few years ago and they really went down a treat so i really love this fun idea Weleda have come up with this year. The only thing i think would make these crackers even better would be a cheesy Christmas joke included within the crackers. I know they are not to everyones taste but lets face it, those jokes help make Christmas haha.

I would love to know what you think about these adorable Christmas crackers?! Also, what is your best cheesy Christmas cracker joke?! Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I loveee hearing from you all i make sure to read every single comment…they really make my day!

Christmas Lush Haul

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well? I have a really festive post for you all today…a fabulous Christmas Lush haul. I actually picked these goodies up back at the beginning of November around the time when they first hit my local Lush store. A few of them i remember from last year that i picked up in the Lush sale after Christmas and some of them are newbies for me to give a try. This was my first Lush haul in months as i really do prefer to have long warm baths during the winter time as it feels more cosy and pampering. This is not a Christmas Gift Guide per say but i really do believe that any Lush product would make the perfect gift for any occasion.

Lush said they created this bath bomb for those of you who can't help but shake that present with your name on under the Christmas tree. The Golden Wonder bath bomb is like a pass the parcel gift…each layer has something different to offer. This is not for a quick bath because it takes its time. It has layers of golden lustre, dazzling colours and soluble gold stars are a wonder to behold. This bath bomb is guaranteed to put you in the mood for some festive celebrations.

Lush modelled the Secret Santa bath bomb on the original Lush shop, 29 Poole High Street, their very own Santa's grotto. The fragrance of the bath bomb was created to emulate the rich smell of essential oils inside the shop. This bath bomb is super sized and slightly bigger than the average one Lush normally offer, so you should get multiple baths from it. With the calming scent of yang ylang as well as uplifting limes, Secret Santa is sure to put you in a Christmas mood. The bathwater will turn a bright orange colour and, if you break your bath bomb in half, there is even a mini red Father Christmas bath bomb hiding inside the grotto…how fun!

Shoot for the Stars bath bomb is for all of the star gazers out there, creating a magnificent bath with swirling lustres and beautiful colours. A bewitching bath swirling with colours as magical as the starry night, this bath bomb has the same comforting honey-toffee fragrance as the Lush Honey I Washed the Kids soap.

This year, the Luxury Lush Pud bath bomb has had a luxurious makover…with a soothing lavender fragrance and calming pastel colours, this bath bomb is perfect for those times when all you want to do is relax. The bath bom shares the same fragrance with the Lush Twilight bath bomb. With lavender oil, yang ylan and tonka absolute, you'll be soothed and calmed as little island colours float out into your bath water.

The fair trade vanilla absolute, sparkling snowflake lustre and creamy cornflour in Candy Mountain bubble bar make bath time a sweet rest for big kids as well as little kids. Inspired by the pretty pink colour of Snow Fairy which is such an incredible and yummy scent, this year Candy Mountain bubble bar has been remodelled. Lush made its conical shape slightly taller and coloured it pink and pearly white. If you are a fan of Rock Star soap and Creamy Candy bubble bar, then you will absolutely love Candy Mountain as it share the same sweet-shop fragrance. Lush included some of their bubble crumble mix to the bubble bar formulation which adds a magical pink mist to the peaks of foaming bubbles.

Those are all of the Lush goodies i recently picked up and i am absolutely loving each and every one of them. I do think i have to take another peek through the store and pick up some more Snow Fairy to get my through till next Christmas and when it is released again haha. I am holding out for the fabulous sales again though as i managed to pick up some lovely goodies last year! I hope you all enjoyed this Lush haul, i would love to know which ones catches your eye and if you'll be treating yourself to any Lush goodies soon?! Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I loveee hearing from you all i make sure to read every single comment…they really make my day!

Lifestyle | Cinderella: An Inspirational Fair-Retail

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well? To keep within my Christmas Gift Guide theme i thought i would share with you something i was recently introduced to…eBay are presenting the worlds first shoppable pantomime - 'Cinderella: An Inspirational Fair-Retail' which is the only pantomime which will deliver festive gifting inspiration for the audience in a unique, fun and creative way. The pantomime is a full 50 minute public show running across two days - Friday 29th and Saturday 30th November 2013 and you can book seats from eBay by clicking here. Seats for the public performance will cost £6 with all of the proceeds being donated to the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust, which is dedicated to young people undergoing treatment for Cancer.

Research that was released today apparently reveals that we are a nation longing for present inspiration with 60% of Brits browsing endlessly without buying and 48% just asking family and friends what they want, meaning there's no such thing as a thoughtful surprise at Christmas anymore. Thats why this Christmas eBay presents, 'Cinderella: An Inspirational Fair-Retail', the worlds first shoppable pantomime, to help inspire shoppers who might need that little extra hand to find that perfect gift.

Combined festive fun and entertaining shopping, eBay have created a traditional pantomime with a twist. As the classic story of Cinderella unfolds on stage; events, characters and state of the art technology trigger gift inspiration for all the family to the palm of the audience's hand. The pantomime, set to illuminate the stage at the Charing Cross Theatre in London, will see the entire audience guide through the experience by the much-loved Fairy Godmother. In addition to providing inspiration for shoppers, she will ask the audience to help her solve her own gifting quandaries. Each theatre goer will have their own tablet and gifting inspiration will unfold throughout the show. Sounds pretty fun right?!

There's so much going on in the run up to Christmas we are all literally running off out feet. Whether it is Christmas card writing (66% of us), present buying for all the family (77%) to decorating the house (61%) and turkey stuffing (43%). The pantomime will inspire shoppers and put Brits in the festive spirit across two performances on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th November at the Charing Cross Theatre in central London. Tickets will cost £6, with all of the proceeds donated to the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust.

Stephen Fry, patron of the trust said: “I am so proud to support the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust and all that they do for young people, their families and friends through trying and upsetting times. I am delighted that eBay have selected to support the fight against cancer in young people through this innovative, interactive pantomime. I hope the shows are a huge success and raise lots of money and awareness for this important cause.”

Sarah Calcott, senior marketing director at eBay said, “This year we’ve combined the fun of the British panto with the ability to nail your Christmas gift shopping. Our goal is to inspire Brits to make more thoughtful gift purchases this Christmas – so prepare for a pantomime with a twist, and a hugely entertaining way to shop!”
eBay have been working with critically acclaimed actors, producers and playwrights for this world-first experience starring all the classic Cinderella characters, each representing a member of the family that needs to be treated this Christmas. Its something really unique, fun and creative to help inspire us for gifts for all the special people in our lives. Not only that, but it would be a great day out with the family and to see a much loved fairytale with a twist. I also love the fact that all proceeds go towards the fight for Cancer as it is something that directly or indirectly affects us all.

Hope you all enjoyed this fun and different lifestyle post. I would love to know what you think and any Christmas gift ideas you have this year! Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I loveee hearing from you all i make sure to read every single comment…they really make my day!

Christmas Gift Guide | Fragrance Direct

Hello My Lovelies,

Long time no speak ey, hope you are all doing really well? I have had a hectic few weeks with turning 21 and having the last few weekends away celebrating…I've decided the celebrations will not stop until November is officially over. I have a load of Birthday related posts which i cannot wait to share with you all as they have been really requested. I thought i would kick off my long departure with the start of my Christmas Gift Guide series.

I am a huge lover of perfume and have quite a large collection as i feel you can never have too many. My perfume preference will change daily depending on how i am feeling, what the weather is like and the overall season at the time. A couple of weeks ago Fragrance Direct got in touch with me and wanted to see if i would be interested in collaborating with them…I absolutely jumped at the chance and feel i picked two beautiful perfume sets that any girl would love to find at the bottom of her tree this Christmas!

Prada Candy is a playful and seductive scent that Prada launched in 2011 and it is one i have been longing to try from the Prada fragrance family. Featuring warn signature notes of Italian citruses, sweet pea, white musk and caramel, Prada Candy L'Eau is an elegant and timeless fragrance, perfect for everyday wear and for those extra special occasions. The bottle is very simple and stylish and screams Prada. I adore the contrast of the pastel pink / peach against the caramel perfume liquid - Prada also have the shocking pink edition which is also stunning! The gold hardware detailing on the classic bottles make it look even more luxurious, eye catching and would look lovely on display.

Fragrance Direct are offering this gorgeous sweet and youthful scent as part of a 50ml gift set which features a 50ml bottle of the Eau de Parfum along with a 75ml body lotion and a very stylish pouch, perfect for storing your everyday beauty essentials.

Vera Wang Be Jewelled was designed to leave a long lasting impression and add that little bit of luxury to your life. Ignite your senses with the rich blend of pomegranate, red-current and champagne which elegantly flow into a heart of passion fruit and peony. A romantic and unusual base of pink sugar crystals, musk and woods make Vera Wang Be Jewelled an exotic and sparkling scent that you can take with you everyday. The packaging is absolutely gorgeous and the perfume bottle itself is simply stunning and would look so stylish out on display. The added 'Jewel' detailing on the rim of the bottle is so fun and i love how the colours are keeping within the lilac purple palette. Every time i read the name it instantly reminds me of my friend India from the Jewel Beauty Blog!

Fragrance Direct are offering this delectable scent as part of a 30ml gift set. Included is a 30ml Eau de Parfume, a 75ml lightly scented body lotion and a 75ml shower gel which you can layer up and make this beautiful scent last that little bit longer.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and maybe found something to add to your Christmas wish list. I have been browsing through all of the fabulous perfume collections Fragrance Direct have to offer and i am planning on picking up a few for stocking fillers. I would absolutely love to know what your favourite scents are and what you have on your wish list? Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. La Roche - Posay Effaclar Duo

Hello My Lovelies!

Hope you are all doing well and you all had a fabulous weekend! This was officially my last weekend as a 20 year old…OMG i seriously cannot believe i am 21 on Tuesday! If you would like a Birthday related post then pretty please let me know :) So, a few weeks ago i popped into one of my local Boots stores and picked up a few beauty goodies that i had on my wish list. I was planning on writing up my little Boots haul this evening but after doing my Sunday skincare pampering session i thought i would talk about a new skincare favourite of mine that i intact picked up in the haul…the La Roche - Posay Effaclar Duo.

The La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo is something that is regularly spoken about throughout the bbloggersphere and after seeing countless Youtube Guru's such as Tanya Burr rave about this product i thought i would bite the bullet and finally give it a go. I have been using it now for a good 10 days and i have noticed a difference in my skin. When i started to use it i had a few imperfections on my face and now they are hardly visible and the product has helped them disappear. Naturally at first i was a little clueless and i was not 100% sure what it's purpose was and where to place it within my skincare routine…i mean no one is perfect right haha?! The formulation packs a punch and offers 'Niacinaminde and Piroctone Olamine to fight against bacterial proliferation and eliminates imperfections. Pores clogged with sebum: the combination of LHA and Linleic Acid unclogs pores while eliminating the accumulated dead cells responsible for the blockage'. Effaclar Duo claims 'The pres are purifies. Even the most sever imperfections disappear. The skin is smoother and cleaner. Lasting balance-replenishment to restore all the qualities of healthy skin.' Ever since using it i can personaly see a difference in my skin and it is fascinating to see the science behind it haha.

You have the option to use the Effaclar Duo is a spot treatment or all over face treatment / moisturiser. I have been using it morning and evening without fail because i want it to have the most possible impact on my skin and i think consistency is key with any skincare routine and i have been known to fall out of routine with it haha. It is specifically produced for those with 'oily skin with imperfections', although i have a true combination skin which is prone to the occasional breakout and it is working fine with my skin so far…fingers crossed. La Roche - Posay follows strict formulations standards and ensures all products are paraben free, 100% hypoallergenic, non comedgenic, have high concentrations of selected active ingredients with soothing thermal spring water, minimal ingredients and fragrance, tested on sensitive skin and that the product packaging minimises all forms of mice-bacterial contamination so you know you are using something without all of those added nasties which cause more harm than good.

Not only is Effaclar Duo an affective skincare product but i am also really enjoying using it as a primer type product for under my makeup. I feel like the product can create a barrier between my face and the makeup and work it's magic throughout the day. Appearance wise it has quite a generic appearance but it is much lighter and has a really refreshing scent which when applied to the skin feels like you are at a spa having a facial treatment. It errs more on the side of a light moisturiser with  slight gel like consistency and it blends into the skin effortlessly without leaving any residue, flaky bits or white residue behind.

Overall, i am really enjoying using this new skincare discovery within my skincare routine and it is working as a fabulous primer for my makeup throughout the day, i do love multi-functional products, don't you? :D I would love to know what your skincare saviours have been lately? Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I loveee hearing from you all i make sure to read every single comment…they really make my day!

Elemis | Soothing Apricot Toner & Online Exclusive

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well? Since i have been loving experimenting and really getting to grips with a skincare routine that suits my skins and works for me I have another skincare related post for you all today. I was recently sent the Elemis Apricot Toner to try out and i really have been loving using it and incorporating it within my current routine. I have been taking extra care lately and sticking to my routine, woohoo, so i thought i would share with you this discovery and also an online exclusive which Debenhams are currently providing that i think you might all like.

Just like in the name, the Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner has extracts of fragrant Apricot which soothe and harmonise which leave your skin feeling extremely fresh and radiant in appearance - i absolutely adore skincare products that leave my skin looking glowy and radiant. Elemis state that it is ideally suited to extra sensitive, delicate and hormonal skin, so this sounds perfect for that time of the month when mother nature calls. This alcohol-free toner is so gentle it can also be applied to cotton pads and can be used as a soothing eye treatment. Ever since incorporating the Apricot Toner within my skincare routine i have really noticed a difference, especially with the overall appearance of my skin. Using this product alongside the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo have definitely been a match made in heaven, I have really been enjoying using it after using a facial wash or exfoliant and before applying serums and moisturisers. According to Elemis it helps maintain the PH levels in your skin by not using harsh detergents or alcohol ingredients which strip the skin of overproducing oil which causes the breakouts and imperfections...instead the formulation has extracts of Apricot, Quillaja Wood and Sweet Betty Flower that have a soothing effect which feels so soothing and refreshing on the skin.

The packaging is really simple and classic and fits in with the rest of the Elemis line which i really like. I also really love the fact that the bottle comes with a spray application rather than a pour or squeeze options as for some reason it makes it feel even more luxurious and spa like spraying it onto a cotton pad...crazy i know haha. It could also be used as a refreshing facial spray which is great for those days when your skins needs a little more tender loving care. A little does go a long way which is the case with all of the Elemis products i have tried so far and the sent is extremely scrummy and reminds me of the summer time which is fabulous for these cold winter nights we are currently enduring.
Now for the online exclusive i briefly mentioned above. Winter might be just around the corner but don't let the plummeting temperature and dark evenings play havoc with your skin. The ultimate radiance collection is an online exclusive on the Debenhams website and contains all of your beauty essentials, ensuring you achieve the most from your complexion every day. Encased in an Elemis travel bag, this is the perfect collection to ensure your skin stays beautiful on the go without breaking the bank. The luxurious collection is an online exclusive to Debenhams and is a purse-pleasing £39.50 with products worth over £70 making it a great collection with an incredible saving, the perfect excuse to treat yourself or a loved one now the Christmas season is looming. I am seriously considering purchasing a few of these as stocking fillers this year and i love the fact the set contains full sized products also, rather than all mini variations. Also, Debenhams are also offering a free gift with any two Elemis purchases at the moment...which i just saw in the website and it is extremely tempting haha.

I hope you all enjoyed this Elemis Skincare post, i would love to know what you think and any skincare product recommendations you might have? If you would like to purchase Elemis online you can do so at Timetospa.com & Debenhams.com Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Sleek Celestial Palette | Shine Bright Like A Diamond

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and had a fabulous weekend! I had a super lovely lazy Sunday and made sure to relax as i have a few stressful weeks at University. Other than that the count down to my 21st Birthday has officially begun haha, it is something to look forward to amongst all of the Uni stress.

I was recently sent some beautiful Sleek goodies and i had to share them with you all. As Christmas is just around the corner, these would make such cute gifts and stocking fillers as well as be perfect for any makeup collection. Sleek is a brand i really do love and provide some cult beauty items in my makeup collection - one being the ever so amazing 'Face Form Palette'. Even though i really like the brand i have never tried out one of their famous Eyeshadow Palettes - slap on the wrist i know! After trying out this beautiful palette i can really say that i want to add every single palette to my makeup collection. Also, attention to detail is everything and how beautiful are these little diamonds that came with the package?! I do love diamonds and how they reflect on the 'Celestial' theme. I have a huge diamond room decor so i thought i would include that also :D

Sleek | I-Divine Limited Edition Celestial Palette | £7.99*

As soon as i set my eyes on this beautiful Sleek Limited Edition Celestial Palette i knew it would soon become a favourite of mine. The shades are seriously stunning and they all are perfect for the upcoming party season for Christmas and New Years coming up. I am a sucker for sparkle so this palette is right up my street and i cannot wait to dive in and use it throughout the party season and for some Birthday makeup looks also! All of the shades have amazing colour pay off, are extremely pigmented, sparkly and have great wearing time. There are 12 shades that are pretty true to the pan colour and they all keep within the palettes celestial space theme -

Solar - As soon as i saw Solar i instantly thought it would make a perfect dupe for MAC Cranberry, obviously minus the fast it is packed full of beautiful sparkly flecks of glitter. Its a perfect autumnal shade which is going to be perfect for the autumn / winter time.

Astral Blue - Astral Blue is a really beautiful blue shade which looks like a mix between MAC Nile and Moons Reflection. I have a few blue shades in my collection but i don't really wear them as much so i am looking forward to being more creative and using shades i don't typically use.

Aurora - Instantly this reminds me of my favourite Disney Princess Sleeping Beauty minus the fact the green shade has no reference to her haha. It is a pretty mid toned green.

Galactic - Galactic is a beautiful metallic silver shade which is perfect for the Christmas season.

Earth Shine - They do say that navy is the new black and this beautiful navy based sparkly shade is truly stunning. As this is a little darker than some of the other shades the glitter can really be seen as more striking when swatched and worn on the eye.

Dark Matter - As soon as i saw Dark Matter it instantly reminded me of MAC's Black Tied which is one of my favourite eyeshadows in my MAC palettes. Just like Earth Shine the glitter can be seen more as it is a darker shade. This is the perfect dark smokey eye shade.

Stargaze - Stargaze is such a pretty name for such a pretty eyeshadow. It is a really soft almost slightly pastel lilac shade which i really like. It almost reminds me of a shade Barbie would wear.

Saturn's Ring - Saturn's Ring is almost a more darkened version of Astral Blue except this shade is more duo chrome and has a more purple tone to it. I really love duo chrome shades and this one reflects beautiful shades of purple, pink and blue when it is hit by the light.

Meteoric - This copper shade is perfect for the autumnal season, it is a mix between a red, pink and brown shade which creates a lovely coppery shade. This is a true matte shade and has no glitter in the formulation.

Terrestrial - Just like Meteoric this is another true matte shade without shimmer. This is a soft minty apple shade which has a little less colour pay off that some of the other shades within the palette, however, even thought that is the case never the less it is still a pretty shade. I am still experimenting with this shade but i feel if it was used with MAC's Fix+ it would have a true colour pay off.

Lunar - Lunar is another super pretty name which is keeping in the theme of the palette and it slightly reminds me of Lunar from Harry Potter haha. This is one of my favourite shades in the palette and appears to reflect more light that some of the others. It is a stunning light silvery shade with a slight lilacy undertone. It reminds me ever so slightly of MAC's Smoke n Diamonds except it is a lot lighter.

Eclipse - Eclipse is a soft textured metallic shade which reminds me of a mix between MAC Mulch and MAC Club, both favourite shades of mine. Another duo chrome shade which has a gorgeous green reflective undertones.

Mascara is one of my favourite beauty products as it can really transform your eyes and your whole makeup look. You can really build your lashes to new heights with this Lethal Length mascara. I like to curl my lashes and then apply a few generous couts of this lovely mascara to get my lashes looking long, curled, defines and volumous. The formula is really great and provides a long wearing time that does not smudge throughout the day. I feel the brush is really similar to Benefit They're Real which i really like as they work great on my lashes. I have really been enjoying this mascara and i have been using it on a daily basis ever since i received it. For £6.99 i think it is a great steal and you cannot go wrong.

Hope you all enjoyed this fun Sleek post featuring some great products. I would love to know what you think and what your favourite shades in the palette are? If you would like to get your hands on the new Limited Edition Celestial Palette I believe it is being released on the 6th November in all Boots and Superdrug stores and also online. Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. Have A Boohoo #Dressmas This Christmas

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well? I have a really exciting post for you all today - a sneak peek into the Boohoo Dressmas Christmas campaign and they wanted us all to get involved. Getting ready for the party season especially around Christmas can be difficult. I for one can never decide on an outfit and can always use some girly advice! So, Boohoo have created three teaser trailers with three models holding up items they are thinking of wearing for the official Christmas TV advert which is launching the 4th November! Like all girls they are questioning - If the colour suits them? Could i pull off sequins? Is it too short for me to wear? So, that is why we want you, my lovely followers to cast your vote and let us know which your favourites are and guess which ones might be featured in the Boohoo Christmas TV Advert. Featured below is one of the three adverts from the Christmas Campaign featuring the model Hannah.

You can click here to browse through the Boohoo Dress collections!

I love how all of the teaser trailers include sparkle, because lets face it we all love to wear something sparkly and beautiful especially around the Christmas season - or if you are like me i will find an excuse to wear it all year round haha, I currently have white glittery nails which remind me of snowflakes and it is not even the end of October yet haha. So...those are the three teaser trailers and i would love to know what your thoughts are on them, which are your favourite fashion combinations and which outfits you would like to be seen in the new Christmas Dressmas advert?

Dior Creme de Rose Lip Balm Dupe ft Apivita

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and you all had a fabulous weekend. I literally have a few busy weeks ahead with University and i am trying not to stress myself out too much haha. I thought i would mix it up a little bit and post about a fabulous dupe i recently discovered and i took to twitter (@SophiaMeola) to see if you all wanted a post about it and you all said YES, so here i am hoping not to disappoint haha fingers crossed.  As a shopaholic / beauty junkie i literally love all types of makeup and beauty items. Whether that being they are drugstore or high end goodies - I like to have a balance in my makeup and beauty collection and try a bit of everything. Even though i am known to have the occasionally splurge i really do enjoy discovering dupe products, especially if they are half the price of a high end product!

A few months ago i treated myself to the Dior Creme de Rose Lip Balm which has been a holy grail product of mine ever since. The lip balm allies the expertise of Dior research in nutrition to the delicate smoothness of rose petals. All its nourishing powers come from the rare and precious Damask Rose essential oil extract together with an anti-aging complex and Shea butter. I was really sold on this product as Elle from All That Glitters 21 raves about it all the time and it has been a saviour product for me specially now it has got so much colder. This was my first time branching out in a Dior lip balm but i am so glad i did as it is such a beautiful product that actually does work. It has a thick, non sticky texture that applies like a dream onto the lips leaving them feeling extremely moisturised, smooth and plump. Not only is it a great lip balm in itself, but it is also a great lip primer product to use before applying a lipstick or lipgloss.

Interestingly enough a few weeks ago i discovered a pretty great dupe for the Dior Creme de Rose Lip Balm after being sent a lovely package from Apivita. The Apivita Pink Rose Lip Care moisturises and softens lips with olive il, beeswax, cocoa butter, shea butter and avocado oil and leaves a light rose coloured sheen. The rose oil and vitamin E and C help to protect the lips from environmental toxins and prevents irritations. It is packed full of 96% of natural ingredients and is free from parabens, propylene glycol, mineral oil and silicones. As soon as i opened my package and tried out the lip balm i instantly knew that it would be a fabulous dupe for Dior Creme de Rose. They have similar ingredients which include Shea butter, vitamins and rose oil. They have an extremely similar scent which of course smells like beautiful fresh roses and also a very similar shade in colour. The only main and quite visual different would be the packaging.

Packaging wise i really do not mind either one as they both look very chic and pretty. The main issues with potted lip balms is obviously the residue it can leave on your fingers afterwards but that is why we carry around anti bacterial haha. I really do love the vintage white design with the embossed 'CD' logo on the front - by first glance you instantly know it is Dior. The Apivita classic twist up lipstick design would be the more easily accessible option and i do like the fact it is cut at a slant for easy application to the lips. I really like the fact that with all of the lip balms in the range they colour of the packaging reflects on the flavour of the balm itself - such a simple design but i think it is extremely effective and cute. They both leave a sheer pink sheen to the lips which is slightly noticeable and makes the lips look really healthy, plump and moisturised.

I hope you all enjoyed this dupe post featuring Dior and Apivita, i would love to know your thoughts on the products and what you think about the dupe itself and if you would give it a go. It was really fun putting together this dupe and comparison post and hopefully a few more are to come in the near future. If their is something you would like to find a dupe of then let me know and i will try and hunt something down for you haha. If you would like to give Apivita a try you can take a peek through their collection on the Marks & Spencers website.  Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

NSPA | Orient Fragrance

Hello My Lovelies,

It seriously feels like forever since i have posted something on my blog. I am guilty as charged of neglecting my blog the past week and I have University to blame for that haha. The past few weeks have been incredibly manic and i have quite a few important deadlines coming up which are partly for my Dissertation - scary stuff! So thought it was the perfect time to break away from work for a little while and write up a new post for you all. NSPA have three new stunning fragrances; created for you by the experts at the UK's number one Day Spa, Nirvana Spa. The unique scents are inspired by fragrance spectrums used by the worlds leading perfumers to classify individual creations. From spicy woods, to light florals, right through to sensual orientals, each NSPA fragrance is specially formulated to take you on a unique spa journey. Travel through bountiful blossom gardens with Bloom, opulent oriental sanctuaries with Orient and to fresh and clean tropical waters with Pure and find the new signature perfume for you.

I thought i would introduce you to a new fragrance which has been newly added to my perfume collection, Orient by NSPA is a new release alongside two other fragrances and has become a quick favourite of mine to use. NSPA describe it as an oriental scent of ornate orchids, amorous ambers and sensual silks with the combination of sophisticated tone of Lily, Vanilla and Musk. It is infused with essentials oils of Mandarin for a deeply seductive aroma. Choosing a new perfume is a very personal decision and coming from someone who is obsessed with perfumes i totally understand the process that it can take. When i am browsing in a store and i am trying on fragrances i can usually tell if i like a scent pretty much straight away but sometimes i like to go away and see how it settles on my skin as perfumes can smell different on everyone - very weird but so very true!

The longevity of this fragrance is simply amazing and lasts pretty much all day just like my beloved Thierry Mugler Alien which is also another Oriental scent. I think that is great because you do want your fragrance to last as long as possible without the need to constantly reapply throughout the day. As the internet has not invented 'Smellevision' as yet something that is extremely similar that i can compare it to for you all is actually Armani Code for women by Armani and could be a great dupe, the only different is NSPA are selling theirs are £8 and Armani at £56.50 haha. The packaging is really pretty, girly and sleek and i love how it looks out on display. I also love how the design on the botle reflects on the packaging, it i something so simple yet isreally effective and looks so special and put together, it just adds that little something extra.

Overall, i am really enjoying using this scent and it is perfect for everyday use without it being too overpowering like some oriental scents can be. My Mum has even given it her seal of approval as she has been sneakily using it also haha. I think for £8 you can't really go wrong and i feel they would make the perfect stocking filler and gifts now the Christmas season is looming and just around the corner. IF you would like to get your hands on some you can go directly to the website to have a browse through all of their lovely goodies and then stop by a local ASDA who are the official stockists.

I hope you all enjoyed this fragrance post, I would love to know what you think and what your favourite perfumes are. I am always looking for excused to constantly expand my perfume collection.
Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Current Hair Favourites #1

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and are having a fabulous weekend so far. I worked this Saturday so i am looking forward to a lazy Sunday tomorrow! The response i had from my Current Winter Essentials #1 post was really lovely so i have decided to post something similar this evening - my Current Hair Favourites #1. This will cover some of the products i am really loving using on my hair and that are currently featured in my haircare routine. My haircare routine does fluctuate depending on how i am overall feeling (haha being lazy) or if my hair needs a little more TLC.

The John Freida Full Repair Full Body Shampoo and Conditioner just work so well together and i love how they leave my hair after a wash. In combination together they smooth and detangle your hair which reduced the risk of breakage and snagging when brushing - I can really feel the conditioner working on my hair as i can literally comb the conditioner out in minutes (even after a serious backcombing session) and in the past it can take me anything up to 15 or more minutes - goshh the prices we pay for long and luscious hair haha. I have a full review of these little beauties which you can see by clicking here.

This is a cult product in my haircare routine and it has been for the past few months since i received it. I have tweeted about this product like crazy and have had some hilarious tweets back from Mr Phil Smith himself haha. This texturising spay creates sexy tousled waves for instant beach babe status. You can get bounce, definition and texture with this softer rather than super salty spray. I can really tell when i have not used this on my hair as it is more limp, flat and lifeless, lets face it we don't want that, i loves me some volume and umphh to my hair! I like to spay it liberally over towel-dried hair, i then tousle my hair upside down with my fingers making sure the product is distributed everywhere and then blow dry with my head kept upside down for that extra va va volume haha. I am actually almost out of this little gem so will need to make another purchase soon.

This is definitely a holy grail product of mine which i will use without fail on my hair. Not only do i use this product when my hair needs a little saving from an extra day wash but i use it on my clean hair to give my hair umphh! I can not tell you how many times i have repurchased this product but i can tell you that the XXL Volume is my ultimate favourite and works best for my personally. This is slightly different in comparison to other in the Batiste range as it has the benefits of a dry shampoo with ultimate volumising powder - a marriage made in heaven if you ask me!

I was first introduced to this product when my amazing hairdresser used it on me for my 18th Birthday party hair style and i literally have fallen in love with it ever since - bare in mind my 18th birthday was almost 3 years ago haha. I do switch up variations of this from intensity 4 which is the Ice Shine version and also intensity 5 which is the Volume and Body variation - to be perfectly honest there is not a big different between them so i grab which ever one i pick up first from my beauty cupboard. You can literally lock in your hairstyle with a radiance ice shine which lasts all day long with great hold power - I have tested this on many nights out and its fabulous. A few benefits is that it enhances shone for a healthy and radiant look, gives your style an extra strong and long lasting hold and brushed out incredibly easy.

Another fabulous Phil smith product to add to the mix - this volumising mousse gives you the body you have always dreamed of. It has a light-as-air yet quite firm consistency tot he formula which glides onto the hair super easy and smoothly. It delivers a voluminous and glossy finish which i really do love. As i love volume i have to make sure i use a volumising mousse product to ensure my hair keeps the volume i put into it when styling and this in combination with the Phil Smith Sea Salt Spray are a perfect couple and work really well together.

Hair oils and treatments are something that i have recently been introducing to my haircare routine as I am still cautious when using them but they really are a fabulous little product. As i am still testing them out i tend to fluctuate between two - the Moroccanoil Treatment (full review here) and the Macadamia Healing Oil. I use them a mixture of ways depending on how i am feeling and the overall condition of my hair - I will apply a heaver coating before washing my hair for a deep conditioning treatment, i apply it to my wet hair and also to my dry hair taking particular attention to my ends.

I hope you all enjoyed this current hair favourites post and a few of my current favourite products i am currently really enjoying using on my hair. I would love to know your thoughts on any of the products and anything you really love to know what your favourite hair products are! Also, i have found a fabulous dupe for the Dior Creme de Rose Lip Balm so a post on that should be coming your way soon after the amazing response i received off Twitter (you lovely lot) :D Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!
