Sleek Face Form Palette in #Light

Hello My Lovelies,

I hope you are all doing well and are having a fabulous week so far. For those of you on Easter break at the moment i am completely envious of you. I am officially meant to be on break at the moment but i have been super busy with writing the remaining chapters of my dissertation and practically living in the University library, i haven't really had time to do anything except the necesseties…hence why i have been a little lazy with my blog recently. I know lately for me in the mornings makeup has been literally anything between 5 - 10 minute job purely because i can't be bothered as i am so sleep deprived haha. So something i have really been enjoying to use in the morning to perk myself up a little is the Sleek Face Form Palette.

This palette has been part of my makeup collection for a few years now and i have made my way through a good few, usually running out of the amazing highlighter first! I have actually done a dupe post including this palette and an Urban Decay Flushed palette which you can take a peek at here. This particular palette was sent to be as part of the #YourSleekLove campaign a few weeks ago and it is still an ultimate favourite of mine. I was first introduced to this palette whilst hunting down the famous contour palette in Superdrug a few years ago. With multi-tasking elements such as a contour powder, highlighter and blusher, the Face Form palette is the ultimate face definition kit in one neat compact designed to suit all skin tones. The Face Form palette is available in four different shades, Fair, Light, Medium and Dark. Given that i haven't fake tanned i usually fall into the light skin category, however, i feel the Light shade would suit Olive and tanned skins also. I love using it on vacation where i get a sunkissed glow to my skin…both the blush and highlighter look perfect and enhance my tan!

Much like the contour kit which Sleek also offers, the Face Form palette includes both a contour and highlight shade with the addition of a beautiful blush or bronzer shade depending on which shade you oft for our of the four available. The two lighter skin tone palettes include the infamous Rose Gold blush which is absolutely stunning whilst the medium and dark palettes include a shimmery bronzer shade. I have a few Sleek makeup goodies in my collection and i think they are all incredible and great quality for a high street brand. The Sleek powders are incredibly pigmented and apply like a dream as they are buttery soft. The brushes i use will change on a day to day basic, however, i do love applying the contour shade with my Real Techniques Blush Brush to warm up my entire complexion, the blush shade with my Real Techniques Multi Task Brush and my Real Techniques Contour Brush with the highlight shade so i can apply it precisely on my cheeks.

All three of the shades within the palette are absolutely gorgeous! I love how the contour shade is free of orange tones and is completely matte so you will get a completely natural looking contour. I absolutely adore the highlighter and it is usually the first pan to finish out of the palette for me personally. It is such a pigmented and beautiful champagne shade that i love to use as an eyeshadow too.  Lastly, the blush is also another gorgeous shade and being Rose Gold i am even more in love with it as i love anything Rose Gold! It is incredibly pigmented like the other two shades and with its slight shimmery particles within the formula it makes your skin look so healthy and dewy. After i swatched the shades i literally thought that they looked like Neapolitan Ice Cream…anyone else think that?!

Overall, i think this is a wonderful little palette, perfect for use everyday, when in a rush and when on the go travelling. It is a one stop shop for all thinks cheek and face related. For £9.99 i think you cannot go wrong. Each pan works out at £3.33 which i think is an absolute bargain and i would recommend this palette to anyone. It is constantly propping up in my tweets at #bbloggers chat!

I hope you all enjoyed this post! I would love to know your thoughts on the Face Form palette, if it is something you have already used before or something you really want to give a try. Also, let me know what your #YourSleekLove it! Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you all and i make sure to read every single comment…they really make my day!

Britney #FantasyRemixUK Take 2

Hello My Lovelies,

I hope you are all doing well and are having a fabulous week so far! So last week i posted about a new Britney Spears campaign which featured two of her new fragrance releases and some fun workshops which were taking place in London for the launch. Saturday 5th April (last weekend) i attended one of the workshops and oh my goodness i had such an amazing time that i thought i would fill all of my lovely followers in on our Britney antics haha.
Frame are hosting the two Britney Spears Dance Workshops to celebrate the launch of her latest fragrance collection Fantasy 'The Naughty Remix' and 'The Nice Remix'. Frame is all about getting on a sweat and having a good time, so these workshops are for all levels - it doesn't matter if you've never dance before in your life! Plus, every attendee receives the new fragrance to take home and the joy of dancing like Britney!

We headed down Friday evening to make a full weekend of it all packed full of dancing and shopping haha. Clothing wise i packed my Victoria's Secret cropped joggers, v-neck t-sift and zip hoodie along with some bright pink Nike Free Runs! Before the workshops were due to start i was packed full of mixed emotions, I used to dance when i was younger but since then i had only ever Cheered for my University and wondered if i could really pull off some Britney dance moves. Never the less Joelle the choreographer made both routines really fun and easy to learn and i actually really surprised myself. He is the really fun guy in the pictures above - we had a selfie posing session haha!

Upon arrival the staff were really lovely. I arrived super early as per usual so decided to have a little nose around, the studio looks fab and they offer a wide range of different classes. We first warmed up to Britney's Womanizer and then we got into learning the routines. The 'Nice' dance routine we learned was to Britney's Overprotected song and i think this was my favoured dance out of the two. It was really fun and in some places quite quick so it really put your moves to the test haha. Joelle really interpreted the song as a real turning point for Britney and really wanted to share the real routine with us. The 'Naughty' dance routine we learned was to Britney's I'm a slave for you which obviously is a more sexy and sultry song…there was a lot of booty shaking haha. Half way through the workshop Joelle the choreographer told us that we had the chance to win some tickets to Vegas to meet Britney. Well, as soon as everyone heard this we were all willing to do pretty much anything dance wise. He told us the best dancer would win the tickets…so everyone got up in the middle of the studio and danced their socks off…only to find that he APRIL FOOLED us haha! Ohh Joelle! On the bright side, you do get a free bottle of the perfume to take away with you after the workshop.

Obviously, not having done a considerable amount of exercise for a long period of time really put me to the test. My muscles are still aching a little from Saturday! Never the less i feel really motivated to get back into excersising and it was all worth it! I really think the dance workshops really got me out of my shell a little more. I have been so stressed lately with University work as my dissertation is due really soon and i am graduating this year. So it was rather lovely to get my mind off it all for a few hours and have a little fun. I would definitely recommend the dance workshops to anyone and there is still time to get hold of some tickets for April 26th. Joelle is thinking of doing more in the future, maybe something like a Gaga vs Madonna edition! You can take a peek through the Frame website to find out more information. If you click here you can see a short video of some of the dancing on the day.

Saturday 5th April 3.30pm - Frame Shoreditch (East London) - PASSED
Saturday 26th April 2.30pm - Frame Queen's Park (North West London)

I would love to know what your thoughts are on Britneys new fragrances and the workshops. Is it something you would consider doing? Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you all and i make sure to read every single comment…they really make my day!

Glo Minerals | Pretty In Pink

Hello My Lovelies,

I hope you are all doing well! I am officially on Easter break but unfortunately i won't be having a break due to writing the remaining chapters of my dissertation haha. Ohh the joys of student life! So what better way to procrastinate than write a blog post?!

I was recently challenged by Glow Minerals to take a photo of myself using the Glo Minerals makeup range to look 'pretty in pink'. I received three amazing products from the range and really enjoyed having a play with them and discovering how i like to use them best on myself. If you do like the look that i created then pretty please feel free to vote for my look on the Glo Minerals Facebook page. If not, you should still head on over and take a peek at the brand and some of the other bloggers who have entered the challenge too! If i am lucky enough to win, i will be given three Glo Minerals goodie bags worth £100 to giveaway to my followers. I believe the competition is not live yet, as soon as it is i will let you all know! Yet again i have gone a little picture crazy but i hope you enjoy the post!

After feasting my eyes on the products i literally fell in love with all of the pink hues. I first started off with the Eyeshadow Trio in Ballerina and used the lightest pink shade in the trio to add a wash of colour across my entire eye lid with a flat shader brush. I then grabbed a fluffy crease brush and added some of the second darker pink shade and started to define my crease slightly for some definition. I then grabbed a small amount of the green shade and added that over the crease shade to add a little more definition but it was very subtle as you can see from the pictures. The eyeshadows were very creamy and buttery soft to apply without any fall out. I love how they left a gorgeous natural pink glow to my eyes and i would love to try more from the range.

I then left my eyes for the moment and moved on to my face. I think the Shimmer Brick in Gleam was one of my favourite products out of the three. I am a huge highlighter fan and these four shades were absolutely gorgeous and extremely pigmented. I first took a mixture of the two pink shades and applied them to the apples of my cheeks and swept them upwards slightly to blend them together. I then took a mixture of the gold and shimmery white shade and used a smaller face brush and focused that on the top of my cheek bones for a more prominent highlight. Using the four shades combined really left my skin looking extremely healthy and glowing…which is fabulous! As the white highlight shade is very pigmented, i took a small eyeshadow brush and added a small amount to the inner corners of my eyes and also on my brow bone for a highlight…i think this really finished the shadows off on the eyes.  I then applied a thin winged liner as i personally like how it looks on my eye shape and then a few coats of my favourite mascara. I will definitely be taking this fabulous shimmer brick on vacation with me this year, i think with a tan it would make me look even more glowing haha!

Then finally, as a finishing touch i used their Lipstick in Pink Sugar which left a natural frosty light pink shade to my lips which really helped pull the rest of the look together. Pink lip shades are my absolutely favourites and this has now become and new favourite in my collection.

I hope you all enjoyed this post and i hope you liked the look i created. If you do then pretty please head on over to the Glo Minerals Facebook page and give my photo a like, i would really appreciate it. I would love to know you thoughts on the makeup and if you have tried any of the line before. If you would like to know what other makeup products i used in this makeup look then let me know! Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you all and i make sure to read every single comment…they really make my day!

Britney #FantasyRemixUK

Hello My Lovelies,

I hope you are all doing well and are having a fabulous week so far! If you know me then you'll know how much i love perfume and that my collection is pretty large…i think you can never have too many haha. When i recently got contacted about the new campaign i literally jumped at the chance! It has been a good few years since Britney launched a new beloved fragrance until now…Britney is introducing her newest fragrance collection 'The Naughty Remix' and 'The Nice Remix'. This is unlike anything Britney has done with her scents before, she has drawn inspirations from different parts of her life to create two different scent experiences which contain elements from the original Fantasy fragrance…very exciting!

Britney has lead the way for celebrity fragrances over the last decade, dominating the UK and establishing Fantasy as the iconic best-selling celebrity fragrance. Now, Britney shares new ways for fans to fantasise by taking the exact same notes from her original Fantasy and remixing it to create two revolutionary and completely different scents. Envisioning her daring, provocative fantasises for The Naughty Remix, Britney intensified the sensual, exotic ingredients to create a sexier version of Fantasy. For a more romantic and flirtatious scent, the dreamy and whimsical notes in Fantasy were strengthened to create The Nice Remix. With the addition of these fragrances into the Fantasy portfolio, Britney's loyal devotees are now able to channel whatever fantasies they have - naughty or nice. As an added little extra, adorning the necks of both Fantasy bottles are chic gold bracelets with an 'N' charm, which can be removed and worn to show your naughty or nice side.

The Naughty Remix | 50ml - £29.50*

Daring and mysterious, The Naughty Remix emphasises fantasy's captivating core notes of jasmine petals, white chocolate orchid and delicious cupcake. The dry down continues with exotic orris root, sensual woods, and creamy musk, amplified from the original Fantasy scent to evoke desire. Leading you seeking the forbidden, Fantasy The Naughty Remix dares you to unleash the fiery fantasy within.

The Nice Remix | 50ml - £29.50*

Dreamy and uplifting, this sparkling, fruit scent highlights the flirty kiwi from Britney's original Fantasy fragrance, while keying the uplifting, core notes of yummy cupcake and jasmine petals. The Nice Remix finishes with a serenes creamy musk, creating a romantic soft blend that leaves behind a whimsical trail. Carefully crafted to entice the imagination, Fantasy The Nice Remix leaves you dreaming of sweet romance.

You can join in this April and celebrate Britney's latest fragrance collection by learning her best dance moves in a Naughty VS Nice Remix dance workshop. London's coolest place to workout, Frame, is holding two exclusive 2-hour workshops where you'll learn a 'Naughty' and 'Nice' song by Britney. Frame is all about getting on a sweat and having a good time, so these workshops are for all levels and it doesn't matter if you've never danced before in your life! Plus, every attendee receives the new fragrance to take home and the joy of dancing just like Britney. I am heading down this Saturday 5th April to the Frame workshop in Schoreditch and i am very excited to get involved and learn some dance routines.

The Frame Workshops

The below dates are the available Fantasy Remix UK workshops and tickets cost £25. If you would like to book a slot you can pop on over to the Frame website.

Saturday 5th April 2014 - Schoreditch 3.30pm-5.30pm
Saturday 26th April 2014 - Queen's Park 2.30pm - 4.30pm

I hope you all enjoyed the first instalment to the #FantasyRemixUK launch.
