Urban Decay have grown to be one of my all time favourite makeup brands and they were probably one of the first makeup brands I ever tried! I remember one Birthday of mine, I was probably 12 or 13, I unwrapping a palette of theirs (an OG one) and just thinking WOW look at these colours! I think I was blown away by the fact that the palette also came with an eyeliner - one that became a holy grail the more I started to experiment more with makeup haha. It's the little things!
Mascara is a big deal in my makeup routine - I think it helps completely transform your face and instantly makes your eyes look bigger and brighter. So, when Urban Decay launched their latest Mascara I was instantly intrigued...and I may or may not have squealed with excitement when Urban Decay gifted me with this little beauty. I don't think Urban Decay Mascaras get all the love they deserve. They have such a fantastic product portfolio from their palettes, setting sprays, lip products and more. Their Mascara's are just as amazing and I'm going to talk you through why Troublemaker has become one of my go-to's!
Here comes Trouble! Troublemaker is Urban Decay's latest mascara launch and let's be honest, it's pretty easy on the eyes. With all new makeup launches it comes with some pretty bold claims...sex proof being one of them! *ohh la la - wink wink* haha.
First things first, the packaging! I know they say to never judge a book by its cover but I mean look at this Mascara, I can't help myself...it's so pretty! The Troublemaker Mascara comes housed in a super stunning colour shifting and prismatic component, just like a chameleon. It also feels very sturdy and heavy which is a bonus. It also comes in a handy dandy Travel Size which is perfect for on the go.
The mascara claims to stir up some trouble in the eyelash department with 13.7x more volume and badass lashes. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised and loved the results when using this mascara. The formulation volumised and lengthened my lashes all whilst it still separated to ensure a clump free application. So, pile on as many coats as you like...the more Trouble, the better!
The specially designed brush grabs onto lashes, curling as it coats. My lashes are an average length (wish they were longer haha), however, occasionally one of my eyes lashes are slightly longer than the other which must be down to makeup wear and tear etc - it's not really noticeable to the eye but I can totally tell the difference (I don't think anyone has perfectly symmetrical eyes) but Troublemaker really helps to even them out and make them look perfectly fluttery and volumous - what more could you ask for?!
Overall, I have really been enjoying this mascara and it will definitely be one I repurchase. The brush itself is just the right size to hug onto your lashes without leaving behind any smudges on your eyelid. This is literally the bane of my life, especially when I am in a rush. Wear time was fabulous - there was no smudging, transferring or flaking and my lashes look the same as they did from when I first applied in the morning. Thicker, fuller, longer and fanned out. I mean, what more could you ask for?!
Urban Decay really haven't disappointed with this release and it makes me even more excited to see what they have in store for us in 2018!
