I hope you are all doing well and are having a wonderful weekend so far.
I have quite an exciting post to share with you today, one that has been in the making for around 6 months now! I was lucky enough to be invited backstage to view the recording of season 11 of Britains Next Top Model with Patisserie de Bain. It has killed me having to keep this under wraps but now the episode has aired I am allowed to finally talk to you all about my experience. At the time of the shoot we didn't really know any information other than the location, the theme and that we could go backstage and take lots of snaps! During the handful of years I have been blogging this has definitely been one of the best experiences I have had and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to see one of my favourite televisions shows being films from behind the scenes.
Location wise I don't think Britain's Next Top Model could have chosen a better venue. Amidst the hustle and bustle of busy Covent Garden is the relaxing sanctuary of Brigit's Bakery or B Bakery as a lot of people like to call it. As well as their Afternoon Tea Bus Tours around London they also have their very own shop which is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I had heard of B Bakery prior to the collaboration and I had always wanted to visit. If you are a regular reader of my blog then you will know that I have the biggest sweet tooth, so I was literally in my element for the entire photoshoot.
One of the main judges on shoot was Paul Sculfor (who is rather dashing) and is one of Britain's first ever male super models. He had a lot of advice to share with the girls which was great to see. Supporting Paul on the photoshoot was guest judge Stephanie Bergin who is the Marketing Manager for Patisserie de Bain. It was great to see Stephanie support the girls during the photoshoot, not only as the client but as someone who has experienced Britain's Next Top Model first hand. After watching the episode I found out she was actually a contestant in the first ever season - so the collaboration was even more exiting!
I hope you all enjoyed coming behind the scene of Britain's Next Top Model with me. I had so much fun collaborating with Patisserie de Bain on this post. I have been a huge fan of their products for as long as I can remember so it was a pleasure working behind the scenes with them. I feel so connected to the new season that I will definitely be watching the rest of the show - you can see all my updates over on Twitter (@SophiaMeola).
