Hello My Lovelies,
I hope you are all doing well and had a fabulous weekend? Last night, I spent my Sunday evening pampering myself and making sure I was ready for the week ahead. So, I thought today I would share with you one of my most recent pampering products that have been working a treat for my eye area. It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Elemis and after being introduced to the brand and having the opportunity to try out a variety of releases from their product portfolio I have to say that they have grown to be a brand that I trust and enjoy using. They always use such incredible ingredients that seem to react well in my skincare routine and Elemis never disappoint when it comes to their products and new releases. I always get extremely excited when a surprise Elemis package arrived on my doorstep and I cannot wait to share with you one of their latest releases.
We all know that a poor night's sleep plays havoc with our minds and bodies - I can definitely vouch for this at the moment as my sleeping patterns have been all over the place lately. The Pro-Radiance Illuminating Eye Balm instantly illuminates, moisturises and refreshes tired eyes. An inimitable blend of ingredients works together to bring instant brightness. Bird of Paradise flower gently reduces dark circles and puffiness, while optical blurring powers fade and soften the appearance of fine lines (you can never start too early). Apricot oil, rich in Omega and vitamins encourage the skin back to a state of vitality and freshness. Apricot Kernal oil, rich in Omega and vitamins A and E, is absorbed by the skin to nourish and nurture. Extracts of Arnica and Chamomile use their combined gifts for soothing to encourage the skin back to a state of vitality and freshness.
Everything sounds pretty incredible so far right...all this and it is a complete dream to apply! The cooling zamac head glides around the gentle curves of the eye contour effortlessly, soothing and refreshing the area. I really love eye products that come with a metal type applicator. When applying the product you can really feel the custom tip stimulating the blood flow around my eye area, which essentially aids in eliminating dark circles. The formulation has a slight tint to it but nothing drastic that would alter the shade of your concealer and so on.
Another great thing about this product is the fact that you can use it before, with and after makeup. You can use it within you daily skincare routine and apply it before you start applying your makeup, however, you can also use it during the day over makeup to relieve tired eyes. The only thing about this method I am not completely sold on is that the applicator can get a little mucky or even slide your undereye concealer around etc. However, this is nothing a bit of water or a makeup wipe can't fix - the applicator will look as good as new once again. Finally, the last method is to actually mix a small amount of the Pro-Radiance Illuminating Balm with your concealer. This is a great method that will add radiance and brightness to your undereye area.
Overall, I am completely impressed with this product and I am going to continue using it throughout my daily skincare routine. The only questionable thing about this product is the £34* price tag, however, if a product actually works for me then I don't mind paying that little bit extra. If you are a little dubious about the product you can purchase a travel size version for £9 - this way you get to trial the product before committing to the full size. Travel sized products are so handy! If you want to find out more about this product you can head over to the official Elemis website where you can also purchase both the full and travel size. You can also pick this little gem up at House of Fraser, Time to Spa, Feel Unique (where it is currently 20% off) and a few other places online and in store.
I hope you all enjoy this review - I would love to now what your thoughts are on this product and if it is something you would considering incorporating into your skincare routine. Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me via my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you all and I make sure to ready every single comment...they really make my day!
Lots of Love
