Sleek Gloss Me Lip Gloss

Hello My Lovelies, 

I hope you are all doing well? Sorry for the lack of postings the last few days, I recently whisked away on vacation with some family so it has taken us a few days to settle in. I received a lovely surprise today...can you guess what it is? I am so excited to finally announce that I have been working with the lovely Felicity from Pursuit of Felicity Designs to re-design my blog. I am planning on writing a full post on everything soon but I just wanted to say I could not recommend Felicity enough. No job was too big and I am in love with how everything turned out! So, I would love to know what you all think about the new re-design too :)

Rightio, back into todays post! Something I can never have enough of are lip products...I love how you can mix them up and how they can change the way you look and feel. Today I bring you a gorgeous selection of Sleek Gloss Me Lip Glosses, I love how they could be worn alone or layered up with other lip products to create the ultimate bespoke lipstick combination.

The Sleek Gloss Me Glosses are new on the scene and provide you with maximum high-shine coverage that ensures a dazzling put all day long. The ultra intense, long lasting colour doesn't stray, drenching lips in full coat of gloss in just one application. I have always been a huge fan of Sleek Makeup, from their incredible Face Form Palette and their beautiful range of eyeshadow palettes. Now I have had the opportunity to try out some of their lip products I can honestly say that Sleek are an all round makeup brand that offer amazing quality products at very affordable prices...any beauty addicts dream! There are twelve shades to choose from and I was sent three new shades from Summer 2014 Gloss Me line to give a try. I think each shade is absolutely gorgeous...you have the perfect red lip, pinky nude and lilac shades to play around with. 

The formula offers a lightweight, opaque and non sticky finish to the lips. I love how the applicator is quite thin which make it easy to line around your lips before filling them in with the brighter colours without making a complete mess. When you apply the glosses it sets almost instantly which helps reduce the sticky tacky feelings some other glosses give. Whilst the gloss is setting it gives you the perfect opportunity to build up the colour and shine to the intensity and shine you desire. I always feel the wear time on lip products will vary depending on the person wearing them, however, on average I would say they give the perfect wear time for an evening out...around 4-6 hours. Even though the lip products fades it still leaves behind a lovely stain to the lips without giving off that my lip gloss has faded and I haven't reapplied look. 

Maria Maria #22

Maria Maria is a beautiful warm strawberry red colour. It provides an extremely opaque colour with just one application and adds the perfect pop of colour to any makeup look. I love how it is the perfect red shade without being too intimidating and looks effortlessly beautiful on the lips. 

Angel Falls #20

Angel Falls in a beautiful nude shade with hints of pink and subtle sparkle. Considering it is quite a light shade it still leaves a good opaque finish to the lips. This is the perfect Kim Kardashian lip shade which would look amazing with a sultry smokey eye or even a natural daytime makeup looks. I think this would look gorgeous layered on top of MAC's Creme Cup. 

Tai Orchid #23

Tai Orchid is a beautiful vibrant lilac pink shade which reminds me of bubblegum. Like the other shades it also provides an opaque colour to the lips in one application which could be layered up to create an intense lip shade. I think this shade would look lovely paired with a smokey eye or even with a simple makeup look for that perfect pop of colour.
