Christmas Eve Winter Warmers ft. Teapigs

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well? Merry Christmas Eve everyone! Hope you all have a fabulous evening and lead up to Christmas day. We are having some Christmas Eve festivities round my Aunties house this evening…being Italian we do the whole Fish eating scenario, even though, i am not a big fish eater myself! Tomorrow for Christmas Day we are all round my house for some festive antics, quality time, lots of yummy food and drink amongst everything else!

I wanted to post something new on my blog before Christmas so i thought i would show you a new tea i have really been loving. I was recently sent it to try by Teapigs and it is their Spiced Winter Red Tea. It's no secret that i am quite partial to a cup of tea so i was extremely excited to give it a try as soon as i saw it arrive on my doorstep. Teapigs established in 2006 when two individuals with a passion for tea met whilst working at another tea company. The more they tasted and learnt they came to realise that there's a whole world of quality teas out there that simply aren't getting the attention they deserve…and so Teapigs was born.

Teapigs describes their Spiced Winter Red Tea as 'Christmas in a Cup' and i think that sums this tea up perfectly. They have picked out the best bits of winter with this tea with ingredients such as rooibos (redbush) with orange, cloves and cinnamon. It is the perfect winter warmer that is delicately spicy without being too strong. Usually spiced teas such as Chair are made using black tea so having tried a new tea with rooibos i think they go perfectly together. It is much lighter and refreshing, and because its naturally caffeine free you can enjoy this tea at any time of the day. I do enjoy a cup of tea in bed whilst catching up on some blogging.

Teapigs recommend using one tea bag in your favourite mug, I have chosen my new favourite Christmas mug, and then let it brew for around three minutes of more to get the best taste out of the tea bag. Whole leaves such as the ones used in this tea bag take a little longer to brew, even though that's the case it will be worth the wait. Then you can wither have it as it is, add some milk, Honey for added sweetness or even a little Brandy for that even more totally festive brew. It's so fabulous watching the leaves brew in the cup as you can see what exactly is going and what makes this tea so incredibly delicious, plus it leaves your Kitchen smelling just like Christmas or how Santa's Grotto would smell haha.

A little added bonus is that all of the packaging is green and environmentally friendly. It is 100% recyclable and the tea bags, or tea temples as Teapigs like to call them, are made with biodegradable cornstarch. I hope you all enjoyed this Tea related post and you all have a fabulous Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! I will be enjoying a cup of this fabulous winter warming tea this evening whilst watching Norad and tracking Santa's every move! Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I loveee hearing from you all i make sure to read every single comment…they really make my day!

Lots of Love
