Lucky Dip #1 | Skincare Goodies

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well and are having a fabulous week so far! I thought i would talk about a few favoured skincare products that i have been trying out recently and have really been enjoying. I love when i can find a product that works with my skin, feels like it is working and keeps those nasty break outs at bay. Before blogging i never really had a set in stone regime but now i love mixing up the skincare products in my routines. I know they say you shouldn't constantly be trying out new products as they can be the cause of breakouts when you are constantly switching around but i find with me personally that some skincare products can almost get immune to my skin and stop working for me, weird i know! I personally have to switch them around every month or so to ensure my skin stays clear. So, i thought i would share a few of the more affordable skincare goodies i have been experimenting with lately, i hope you enjoy and find something you might like to try! I was first introduced to these products when i had packed away all of my current skincare favourites for my trip to LA - so i had a little browse through my skincare drawer and thought i would give these all a go, and to much of my surprise i really enjoyed them all!

Dirty Works Rose & Glow Moisture Mask is perfect for the transition into the cooler months when our skin is getting dryer and needs some TLC. Rescue dry and dehydrated skin with this thirst quenching intense moisture mask, to reveal a healthier complexion. It is packed full of skin loving ingredients to boost your skins moisture levels and radiance. Including Hyaluronic Acid which exists naturally in the skin to retain water. I really love the rose scent and it makes me feel like i am really being pamper and whisked away, it is perfect to use on a Friday evening after a stressful week. Depending on how my skin is coping and if it needs a little more attention i will use this once or twice a week - i will apply a generous amount all over my face and slightly down my neck and i leave it for up to 15 minutes depending on what i am doing at the time, i personally feel leaving it on that little bit longer will (fingers crossed) make my skin look even better haha!

I was a huge fan of the Good Things Creamy Cleanser and i have to say this is another product i am really loving by them! This 2-in-1 cleanser and toner by Good Things helps to unclog pores and remove excess sebum without stripping your skin of natural oils. It will take your makeup off too, all with a yummy Wild Strawberry and Fig scent...which is extremely delicious! It also has Willow Bark and Licorice Extract which help with keeping bacteria at bay. I like using this by applying a small amount to a cotton pad and sweeping it all across my face making sure to pay extra attention to my t-zone and any breakouts. It can feel a little wet on the face depending on how much you apply, just leave it to air dry and you are good to go with the next step of you skincare routine.

Weleda is a brand i have recently been introduced to and it is a favoured brand by a handful of celebrities. This rich moisturising cream for dry and very dry skin helps to regulate your skins natural moisture balance and provides intensive hydration. With soothing Witch Hazel and Jojoba Seed Oil to soften and improve elasticity, the rich cream supports your skins natural protection against drying elements, leaving your skin smooth and healthy. Even though my skin is a true 'Combination' i find that sometimes i will need to use a cream specifically for dry skin when transferring into the colder months. There is nothing i hate more when my skin is dry and makeup clings to the patched, it makes me feel so self conscious when wearing makeup outside the house haha. I have really been enjoying using this day cream throughout the week when i am in a rush as it hydrates throughout the day and also acts as a primer under makeup, so it is a great alternative and 2-in-1 product.

I hope you all enjoyed the first instalment to my 'Lucky Dip' series and i am thinking i might make this a regular thing over on my blog. Let me know what you all think! I would also like to know what you think about the above skincare goodies, if you have tried them out yourselves and anything skincare wise you are extremely loving! Like always lovelies, if you have an questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you all and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Lots of Love
