Moroccanoil Treatment

Hello My Lovelies,

Hope you are all doing well! Gosh I have a packed day full of ups and downs...i was literally chased around the office at work today buy a swarm of bees and then i came home with the full intention to get my butt into gear and learn how to use Photoshop a little more professionally and i literally have been sitting her for hours going know where so i have given up and decided to write up a blog post instead!  Today i decided to use my new Canon 700D to take photos for this post, i am still a newbie and figuring out all of the setting but OMG can i see a difference to when i was just using my iPhone. So, hopefully you will be able to see the pictures slowly getting better once i have mastered the camera and maybe photoshop if i am lucky haha.

Moroccanoil is something i have always been interested in trying on my hair but always a little cautious about because of the whole hair and oil combination, but it has been raved about so much it was exciting to finally give it a try and see how it worked on my hair. As i have quite long hair and a lot of it sometimes you do need a good product that will help maintain shine, glossiness and overall health...and Moroccanoil does just that.

In the past i have had a few questions about my hair and what i use in my haircare routine. To be perfectly honest i am quite lazy when it comes to my hair, usually i will simply wash it, apply a little product, tip my head upside down and blow dry until my hair is almost completely dry, put it up in a messy bun, sleep on it and then shake out the waves in the morning haha...the lazy girls guide to hair basically! This is completely shocking considering i have worked part time in a hairdressers on the weekends since i was 14! Considering i have not dyed my hair in a good 5 years or so my hair is in pretty good condition...however, the fact that i use a tone of hairspray, dry shampoo and backcombing means sometimes my hair needs a break and some TLC.

Firstly the packaging, this is the perfect companion for your hair and with this handy 25ml bottle it is the perfect size to carry around in your handbag whilst on the go. Vogue Magazine is constantly raving about this little gem and it's miracles and versatile qualities. Not only is Moroccanoil suitable for before and after blow-drying your hair, it also can be used on wet hair and left to dry naturally...this prevents your hair becoming damaged by uv rays which makes your hair look healthy and more shiny. This Moroccanoil paired with my new Panasonic Hairdryer (yes you heard that right...Panasonic:D review coming soon) is the perfect combination!

The Moroccanoil Treatment is a versatile, nourishing and residue-free formula that can be used as a conditioning, styling and finishing product on the hair. It blends perfectly with other products and can even speed up the hair drying process which i think all girls long for! Hair care and maintenance can be a lengthly process haha. The treatment completely transforms and repairs as the formula transports lost proteins back into the hair for strength; fatty acids, omega-3 oils and vitamins for shine and antioxidants for protection. It absorbs instantly to fill gaps in the hair created by heat damage, styling and everyday environmental causes. Oil in haircare can now no longer mean greasy but with Moroccanoil the oil means nourishment. It has become an industry sensation which is used all over the world by celebrities, salon professionals and of course the general public.
I like to use this product by placing a pea sized amount into the palm of my hand, rub my hands together and then apply it from midway down my hair to my ends focusing on any dry or split ends i might have. It varies as i do use it on both wet and dry hair but i think personally it works best on wet / damp hair as the hair will absorb the oil better. Obviously if you do use a lot of this product you might experience greasiness as it is a oil based product, however, everyone is different so you should so what suits your hair. I find a pea sized amount does my hair nicely and i have hair just above my waist.  We actually use Moroccainoil at the salon i work at and you definitely see a difference after using it on certain hair types in the salon. Some girls will come in a get spectrum foils (basically bleach but not as harsh) and after washing the colour out the hair is very dry and can be slightly brittle. After applying some Moroccanoil it is seriously like life has gone back into the hair, it looks super shiny and healthy much like celebrities in the movies :D I am really enjoying using Moroccanoil on my hair and i love the difference a little bit of this amazing oil has done to my long locks! It definitely tames fly-aways and nourishes dry ends!

Hope you all enjoyed this review, i would love to know your thoughts on Moroccanoil and if you have tried it or are considering it. If you would like to try it out for yourself you can purchase it from AmazingHair.com they offer a wide range of Moroccanoil products, different sizes and lots of different offers. They are actually offering a 125ml Limited Edition bottle for the same price as a 100ml bottle with free delivery...which i might have to take up on! Like always lovelies, if you have any questions, requests or if you just want a chat you can contact me on my social media or leave me a comment below. I love hearing from you and i make sure to read every single comment...they really make my day!

Also lovelies, I have been lucky enough to be short-listed in the 2013 #CosmoBlogAwards under 'Best New Beauty Blog'. I still cannot believe i am in the finals it is still so overwhelming and super exciting...i have written a post about it HERE

  4. Its nice to actually find out how Moroccan Oil works. I always see people saying how good it is but I've never known why so its good to know. I haven't tried this, I have always used the Kerastase Elixir Ultime which I love but I think I might try something new and give this a go because my hair is snapping like nothing else recently.
    Love the blog :)

  10. I had the Macadamia oil but I never had any great results, and I hated how it smelled! I ended up giving it to my mom who uses heat on her hair every day (I rarely do) and she loves it! I do love the mask though!
